Released Toyota AE86 Trueno/Levin

For some reason i cant find the mod in the repository even though it says "released"

read the rules lass, you can't have real cars in repo and Schumacher stopped supporting this mod.

 

Should the community put an "Unsupported" flair on this mod?

 

Just download one of the hotfixes that me and many others have contributed to, they contain all the files you need for getting the car in-game plus some updates to keep the mod alive.

Here, I've taken the last latest hotfix (hotfix #10) and added stallard99's files to it so as to create a new hotfix, one without a good number of the collision issues that you'd otherwise have, ig due to dev updates messing with stuff

Found an issue on the trueno...

It wabbles back and forth. Also the 4AGE 20V is ALWAYS at 11k rpm, which for god sake STOP MAKING IT LIKE INITIAL D. The AE86 is good because of its handling, throttle response and lightweight body. The sounds still havent been fixed but someone with sound experience needs to fix the sounds as if this was NFSU. Also when the hell did the 4AGE 20V get 500 HP!??!? Even the NA version in the game gets 290 HP. the REAL 20v only does about 160ish HP, it's a 1.6L 4CYL engine. Also on the Levin notchback theres this issue

 

This image you posted, i have no idea how to fix that, the only fix my ''headlight fix'' was to stop it shaking around on the sedan bodys, thats all

edit: im just guessing what that image is meant to be saying

 

well it happens on the Liftback bodies still

 

mine works fine, did you get both ''body fix'' and ''headlight fix''?
all its doing is disabling collision for the body and lights, in theory stopping it shaking around violently

 

I just wanted to find out, because my unzipper is trash and i have a weird file transfer bug. Maybe try to change the file name so it could be featured in the repo (e.g. 1983 Hirochi Sunburst AR68 Marathon.) Close enough, right? Simple fix, plus the possibility of more downloads.

 

you mean the Hotfix where the fixes are already in? yes

 

ye that works too, i didnt bother putting them in the actual files because it would take 500 years to post the entire car file, so i found it easier to post individual files

Not to sound rude, but people probably ignored you because you were in caps, along with blatantly asking for an entirely new version of the mod is a bit uhh... How do I say this.. Questionable.
Plus, what do you mean by papercraft exactly? Maybe something like the old "Kerr" mod?

 

I assume so, he probably means something like a PS1 model of the AE86

 

Ahhh. In that case, he could probably use sketchup or something of the sort to try and make the model. I'll probably give it a go when I can lol

 

using the hotfix posted just above, noticed a missing material on the fender light thing with the levin, not on the toreno feneders i think

 

So since we've figured out self-collision bugs and stuff like that, with with doors for example.

Can anyone try to look into why the hell the rear wheels snap off if you use wide tires and try to fix it? I hate driving around with paper-thin tires.

 

i dont think i have that issue.. try clear cache maybe..? not sure

 

cleared the cache twice after installing so don't think that's the issue

using the hotfix 11, it seemed to happen with that for me

 

mines fine so idk
