That was already an awful headache for me, since it took me hours to find what was wrong...and yes, it was still happening. But of course...0.20 killed it yet again: Since the mod was already a wreck before this, I think I reached my turning point, I would love to see it working, since this has been an important project for me, but unless someone is nice and experienced enough to help me revive it as it should...the JP Roamer is dead, sorry The entire drivetrain needs to be fixed and adjusted, the jbeaming too, textures are now wrecked as well...way too much for my current knowledge. The first part is the deal-breaker, since in 0.19 not only the brake bug was affecting all Roamers, the electric engine was already working in a choppy way (it was almost a miracle it could run), and now all it does is break the front axles, that's it. So...I'm more than welcome for any help with it, I can deal with mesh and textures issues, but until the mechanics/jbeams are fixed, it's a no go, it doesn't make sense to make it look good again if it doesn't run at all in the first place.
Sadness.. Would it be possible (easier) To just make the body work and all that? And down the line make the electric engine and so on work?
The body still needs tweaking, for example, the top lights in the roof behave like one, if one falls, all of them fall, and they tend to bounce while driving. A full revision of the mod is needed, and I might need to create things from scratch, so I'm quite lost to be honest.
Ah, i see. Well no matter what, i am extremely thankful for all your work in creating this. It has given me a lot of joy these years!
Beamic Park version awaiting approval, but of course, the brand new Jurassic Park Roamer is available now for download
You made it! Congratulations! But still the problem here: wheel covered by transparent material. It's way more powerful when before! And brakes at the place! And lamps are divided!
Thank you! It has been a tough work, but it's looking better than ever, I'm glad I had to redo it. Do you mean this? It was always meant to be there, but never got to do it until now. The movie car also has a plastic/glass cover in front of the wheel, I didn't include the fasteners, but at least it's there.
Thanks! BTW, another small feature already built-in, I have been finally able to paint the hidden body parts (behind doors for example) in beige, just like in the movie car:
I'm glad that you finally were able to figure out the braking issue! But I completely forgot how ridiculously fast this thing is! Also will you be able to fix the center console and dashboard?
the rear tv screen is almost like floating in the air and is only held up by a skinny piece of fake wood trim
I absolutely love this mod and it is one of my personal favorites, but is there a chance you will add back the old custom front end you made for it earlier on? I liked that front end and I thought it looked more fitting. Its okay if you are unable to.
It's like that by design, probably the screen itself doesn't fill entirely the frame, but it's a brand new part, not recycled from the old dash. The grill is coming back for sure as optional: I will try to make the restyling headlights look more old (squared) since the basic shape is already closer in dimensions than the old custom lights, which were too long.
Aaaand...we went full squared. The whole front end has been custom made now. Still WIP, but getting there! This will be the new main look, and the restyling will become an option.
I still think that transparent thing over the wheel should be more transparent and some less and some thinner then now. In film it matches the size of the wheel. I also have noted there are camera over the tracking device and also running boards. It should be fine to seeing in your beautiful mod too.
