Hello i wanna ask if anyone would wanna make 3rd gen Camaro in the game it would be called Bruckell (something you get the idea) i would be happy if anyone would make one
Do you think making mods is so easy that someone can just make a mod for you out of nowhere? This is not how it works, modding is a HOBBY, not a JOB, a modder can make whatever car he wants and not whatever you want, no offense.
First of all: https://beamng.com/threads/ford-sierra-cosworth-rs500.10608/ Second of all: https://wiki.beamng.com/Vehicle_Creation_Megapage
Just out of curiosity. Are they really that expensive? I havent seen any website that sells mods for beamng. Im interested to see what kind of quality is out there for a price.
It's not a common thing, so you probably won't find any websites. Car mods for Beamng drive takes a really long time to make, and they are very complicated too so it takes knowledge and skill to create a good quality one. Mesh slaps are easier, but they are only good for pictures. Horrible handling and poor deformation.
Yea i know exactly what you mean. Im currently working on one which took 6 months till now (My previous took around a year to make 1991 Caprice) and probably will take a bit longer im just having problems with UV mapping and textures and skins as there are no tutorials for custom UV mapping and textures and the mod support thread is almost dead no one is answering.
I've already ported the 1990 IROC from Forza Horizon into a workable mesh but that's all I've done. I can send you the files and stuff for a head start but you'll still need a jbeam, textures, and whatnot. In case you couldn't tell by my avatar I'm a big third gen guy.
Theres a really old 3rd gen camaro mod for beamng you can probably find it on one of those russian websites. Maybe someone would like to revive it and give it a proper Jbeam and save it from being a meshslap. It has good textures and a 3d model that you can salvage from it.
Trying to make a full car for a first mod is arguably the worst idea ever. Most people start with parts - since cars are an assortment of parts - or try to make a car out of the blue and give up.
Y'know, you could always just get automation from steam. It won't get you the best and realistic results, however, it'll have the looks, performance, and handling (if you make 'em right!). And I'm working on something similar to a 3rd gen Camaro (front-engined 350 in³ v8 RWD 325hp four-eyed coupe thing) under the Gavril nameplate, I'm also working on a lifted 4x4 version with the same 325hp engine and an insane variant that has a 540hp 80's NASCAR engine. I'll let you know when I'm done with the interior on them, that's if I even remember that I replied to this thread.
