I'm willing to fight you on that one. I think it's quite handsome and dignified. But, alas, people can have their opinion.
It's a jacked up angry minivan covered in random creases and extra bits of cladding. There's nothing handsome or dignified about it. It's everything wrong with modern car design.
Eh, it's ok imo. I like the ford thingy in nfs:most wanted more, what is that thing? To Wikipedia! Aha, this. http://nfs.wikia.com/wiki/Ford_Police_Interceptor_Utility_(Concept)
It isn't as ugly as this one: (imported from here) - - - Updated - - - New car suggestion: It would be awesome to have something that resembles the Peel P50 (imported from here)
I was just about to post that you filthy ninja But I agree, something like the peel p50 would be the best, and I doubt that it would take that long.
I'd LOVE to see a car based on FSO Polonez (and other wonders of socialist car building) View attachment 2030 I want it not just because I'm from Poland, but because of this: View attachment 2031 It's Stratopolonez - the rally car in which, as equal as everyone else, son of the prime minister raced. It's got rally Stratos V6 in it, tuned to generate more power. It's so badass that during its first rally, it spun off 3 times (not to much time to adjust suspension, it was kind of corrected later) and STILL WON. I also designed a vehicle in closed beta of Automation, fell free to take inspiration for your vehicles (rear is kind of bland and ugly - not much of fixture choice): View attachment 2028 View attachment 2029
It's just an Explorer... Just like the new "Ford Police Interceptor", it's just a modified Taurus... (OT: Ford really F*'d up with their new police cars...)
I remember one of the astronauts talking about their rover and about the seating. I think they actually used lawn chairs going by what I remember him saying. The reason was lightness. When you go to space you look to shave off weight where you can in order to save money on fuel. Whatever you add to the top of a rocket you multiply in terms of fuel at the bottom. At the same time, over engineering things to make them light undoes the cost you save on fuel. You hit a balance and you couldn't get cheaper and lighter than just going to a store and buying some aluminum lawn chairs.
Your design is pretty good. The front is like a late 90s legacy with a Impreza grill, and the back looks like a 2001 Ford Tarus. I'd buy it though.
