0.20 Discussion thread | Use Safe Mode before reporting

Custom speed limits for AI don't seem to do anything. Also tested with the limit at 10MPH while doing 65MPH (which I knew was a safe speed when set to auto), and the police didn't care. Didn't record a video of the lower limit though. Should also note that while recorded normally, the problem was also present in safe mode.

 

Hello,
The update has broken map/main menu loading time/game crashes for Monster Trucks and other maps. I have had at least 6 time's where the game would crash when loading a monster truck map and then exiting to the main menu which also crashes the entire game. Please fix this issue. Thanks.

 

thats because its an outdated mod.

just because it says it works doesnt mean it still will work. there are many mods that were just updated and say they work even though they don't. try disabling all mods, see if you can go to any map. and what are your specs?

 

I just realized my custom vehicle now has a picture!! Yay!

 

I know this has nothing to do with this update. Okay, so I have deleted all my mods since I didn’t want them. When I go in Options > User Interface and “Show custom vehicles in vehicle selector” is checked, when I select on say a 200BX, it still has all the cars from the mods except is says missing preview on the thumbnail. This goes for all cars and props. I’ve emptied the mod folder, uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and I still have this problem. Please someone tell me to get rid of this, because I can’t seem to find a search result. Thanks!

 

Oh wow, excellent job, many thanks! I actually didn’t realise that some tyres were actually removed, I thought it was only the loading of tyres that caused tyres to disappear. This addon would really solve a ton of missing tyre issues.

Now the only major thing bug that hasn’t got a workaround / fix is the lua errors preventing a car from spawning correctly.

 

The brake thermal is kind of weird, the color of the pads no longer transition gradually upon overheating but often change suddenly and inconsistently

 

Am I the only one, I fell like the update made performance with multiple vehicles worse

This also happens to me, sometimes my brakes are 600 Degrees and it says they're cold, its a bit buggy and sometimes it doesnt work for me at all

 

a herbie mod i intalled yesterday and it was outdated i tought it will work but no it is error then message camed and said use sfae mode but when i use safe mode the mods i installed it gone so i deleted the mod

 

How can i set the tire pressure from this psi gibberish to bar?
UI is already on metric!

 

I think you need to set it to a custom preset & then you can adjust each of the values to be in either metric or imperial independently

Tried it with "custom" settings, still shows psi when in the car tuning menu

Yes. the only problems you'll experience are that the 3 series e92 line is entirely broken, and you will have to spend some time refitting tyres.
