FATAL ERROR?

I was starting the game and it ran the updater to get the new updates and I got this

Try disabling your antivirus temporarily, guys.

that is the old updater which will not download the pre-race update

 

I have this problem too. I've disabled my firewall and I have no anti-virus because I'm not stupid enough to get them.
I hope theres a fix soon!

 

Same issue. I don't have an AV running.

Already said it, you guys are using the old updater which won't update to the latest version anyway. New one is linked in post above.

 

Downloaded and used the new updater, said it updated. game is still 3.0.5

 

New updater installs into a folder called alpha_prerace and leaves original install untouched, you are likely running the old copy of the game not the new one.
