Cancelled Hirochi LM-19 - 'Le Mans' style endurance prototype

Will there be a regular endurance race spec configuration and a top speed-oriented le mans configuration?

 

Any chance for a Turbo V4 engine (Porsche 919) and an Evolution version of it where the rulebook is thrown out the window then burned?

 

For anyone wondering here are the current planned configs :
Powertrain will be limited to the same twin turbo V6 across all configs

• Regular endurance version
• Low drag version - less aero
• "Tribute" version - bigger battery, more power, active aero plates (kind of like the SRT Tomahawk, but sleeker)

There will be different skins for both the low drag and regular versions

 

will the downforce be adjustable?

Not trying to be annoying this is sort of a hole different mod idea but have you thought about making a Nissan R90 based vehicle?

 

I love Group C cars so yeah I thought of doing that. No promises tho
I have wayyyy too much ideas anyway lol

estimate on downforce? will it be as fast as the fr17?

 

i dont think so, the fr17 is kinda like an f1 car and this isnt as fast and light

 

The unrestricted version will surely be fast as heck, probably faster than the FR17 car even. Either way, LMP1 is roughly 10 seconds slower than F1 at spa-francorchamps, so it should probably be about 10 seconds off a FR17 at a 7km track?

The FR17 isn't a good baseline for a F1 car really. Id imagine this car will be faster considering the FR17 doesn't have correct aero and is pretty weird to drive. Plus it being a part time AWD Hybrid means this car will accelerate much faster than the FR17. The real LMP1 cars have similar aero numbers to F1 cars with a little less drag. The reason LMP1 cars aren't as fast is Tires and fuel flow limits. The tires are much more durable because they have to do 2,3 and sometimes 4 hours on one set of tires when F1 can change them after 30 laps. The fuel flow regs in LMP1 mean the drivers have to lift and coast a lot as well as the car being limited in top speed. This car afaik wont try to replicate the fuel flow regs because the real rule uses fuel burned during a lap. I know. I was mostly going off of statistics, not the reason why these cars are slower.
