Id guiess that mitch is using a ffb steering wheel, Driver Aids for controller or keyboard wouldnt give him a competitive edge...
Weren't the Vivace driving dynamics meant to make their way into other modern vehicles too? That comment could be a hint at that
I think after the West Coast USA touch-up and Jungle Rock Island remaster the ETK Driver Experience Center could get a small racetrack, most of the map feels wasted as the pond in the middle of the map and mountains surrounding it just don't add to the gameplay. I also think there should be some time trial layouts on the handling and wet weather test tracks, and also the high speed bowl.
yes, i was thinking about that. while it would be possible to reformat the map into a 2x2km or 4x4km layout to add some autobahn, and maybe a high speed oval track, it would almost be possible to fit a nordschleife-esque test track around the perimeter of the DEC, within the existing 1x1km heightmap. it would be close in some spots, but it could be done, and makes sense with the context of being an ETK test facility.
My other speculation is that when the 80s vaporwedge is released it could potentially come with the also long awaited minivan bodystyle with the same platform and engines, like they did with the FCV, but separated in the vehicle selector.
possibly, though the vivace and tograc share most of their body shell, and a minivan would likely share more of its mechanical components with the cheaper legran anyway. what's more likely is that they'll release the revamped bolide and wendover in the same update, for one big 80s vaporwedge update.
Time for one of these again (tell me if I missed anything) certain torque vectoring- vivace tweaks, SBR drivemode overhaul? camera position cuts in path tool WCUSA optimising and map edge clean-up brake fade sounds pickup crawler/facelift Likely: van content update- ("kentarch truckster", vanbus, passenger van, post facelift) Bolide-Chassis structure revamp, content update? possible: soliad wendover JRI Remaster metallic paint support? Unlikely: Career mode V3 UI DRI Remaster pigeon/moonhawk remaster
I honestly have doubts about this one. Imho it's not yet started/very early in development since they only showed us concept art. Probably won't happen before 0.22-ish
good point. (though keep in mind, the update is quite possibly 4 months away, a lot could happen in that time)
I really hope they do this we already have a really short part of a highway so extending it could be nice. They could even add some old castles to fit the Nurburging vibe more. It would be interesting to have say like a 7 mile track like the Nordschliefe and then a small offshoot like the current GP Circuit and because the Nordschliefe isnt much besides Race track and Armco (And a little graffiti) I don't think it would be that intensive to build or run. Plus the high speed test oval idea would be sooo much fun.
I don’t think the map’s that big, but a nice thought nonetheless. A remaster of the Experience Center is unlikely, but we’d probably see more “extreme testing” sites, since that)s the purpose of the map.
The third phase for the d series remaster is also likely --- Post updated --- The existing street is more like a Autostraße/Überlandstraße if anything
Hey Guys, The Devs just Posted the #TeaserTuesdays for the Soliad Wendover!!! https://twitter.com/beamng/status/1298327969501511681
ok so --- Post updated --- reminds me of the legran coupe made by @burilkovdeni https://beamng.com/resources/legran...-3-door-5-door-sqr-sp-sw-coupe-limo-lwb.1709/
Very low nose line, I guess they are sticking to the original plan with the LeGran's engines, which means no FWD transverse V8. Kinda a shame since there aren't exactly many opportunities for one of those.
So with Wendover completed in next release (likely December 2020), all gabe's vehicle plan from December 2012 is now finished.
