    Aren't they right though?
The 80s is by far the best represented era, with nine vehicles and five cars. Meanwhile, there's much less content for the 50s-70s, as well as 00s-20s.
Doesn't it seem more logical to increase variety by adding more to the less represented decades?

The cars representing non popular decades may roll out after the Soliad, since it's the last car of gabe's design

It is CONFIRMED that the Wendover shares very little with the LeGran other than the front subframe and engine. It is a fullsize coupe, while the LeGran is a midsize sedan. The Wendover will have independent rear suspension, possibly with air ride that never works right after 5-10 years. Considering it is in development right now, as opposed to 5 years ago, it will probably be made to a much higher standard of quality, and the LeGran might even get a remaster to bring it up to par.

Just because it looks like a LeGran doesn't mean it is. Get over it

On-topic: I think they're planning a big 80's update, including the remastered Civetta Bolide, the Soliad Wendover and possibly a remastered LeGran.

To be fair, it could just be the angle and/or the lighting that's making it look weird to me. I'm sure that when I get to see a full render of the Wendover, it'll look just as beautifully ugly as the LeGran or '96 Pessima.

The ETK K-Series is basically the reverse Wendover to the 800 Series' reverse LeGran, and yet many people are fine with both ETKs existing together. However, I can understand why quite a few people are against the Wendover; I don't agree with their points (I really like the idea of a big FWD full-size coupe/sedan; it's not something you see often in driving games), but they do have a point with pointing out the lack of differences between the Wendover and LeGran - and that against all the multiple gaps in the vehicle list (minivan, 2000s passenger car, post-millennium super car, late-'50s American car, pre-war car), a 1980s coupe isn't as necessary or as different to drive as these vehicles.

However, if we were solely looking at vastly different driving experiences as a requirement for a vehicle to be added to the game, we would only have the Pigeon, T-Series, D-Series, Wentward, SBR4, Grand Marshal, Bolide, and '88 Pessima. This list does cover almost all of the driving experiences you could have, and for a small Flash game, this would be a great list.

But BeamNG.drive is not a Flash game, and multiple similar vehicles allows for many opportunities in career mode (common parts, full classes, large Bruckell/Soliad are also lacking in cars compared to Gavril/Burnside, and adding a car like the Wendover strongly shows where each brand's focus diverged during the '80s (Bruckell, towards FWD, L4s/V6s, and unibody platforms; Gavril, toward RWD, V8s, and body-on-frame platforms).

I mean, if you're going to complain about cars being too similar, the LeGran and '96 Pessima are almost exactly the same in every dimension (the Pessima is 4 cm taller than the LeGran, but other than that, their wheelbases (~2.7m), lengths (~4.8m) and widths (~1.77m) are basically the same). However, because of their different suspensions and power-trains, they drive quite differently. The LeGran Sport's supercharged V6 and solid rear axle make it more of a speedy slide-mobile, while the '96 Pessima Sport's independent rear and N/A V6 make it more suited for cornering.

The Wendover could combine the speed of the LeGran with the handling of the '96 Pessima to make a fantastic early race car, rally car, or autocross car. If it gets AWD and a transverse V8, it could be really competitive in the mid-tier and even in the higher classes.

I know I said a long while ago that I wanted the Wendover to be bad, but...I think it'll be a nice starter car. Or it could be a cheap cruiser for some people.

Dream on man... I would absolutely love that happening, but it doesnt seem likely anytime soon.
However i dont think its impossible either. Remember that Artwork that showed the Bolide with Quad Headlights? That could mean maybe possibly something is on the works for the Bolide. As for the other two, well the Wendover is brand new, and since it shares so many parts with the LeGran, its possible that it may also get atleast a mild revamp.

The LeGran already is a fast car and handles extremely well if you know how to tune and drive it. If it had independent rear suspension, it would be unstoppable.

The Wendover will presumably share the LeGran's front subframe and drivetrain, but it will feature independent rear suspension iirc. With a supercharger and a light tune, it could be a Bolide-killer.

My LeGran is already a Bolide-killer. It is even faster than certain drivers in Hillclimb SBR4s. Independent rear suspension would be a game changer. I doubt there would be much that would be able to keep up with it as long as the weight stays roughly where it is.

Bruckell LeGran and Soliad Wendover. With the Handling by Brigsby package, you're unstoppable.

I enjoy the legran, because i had a couple of buick centurys. They bring back memories of cars i once owned, the Wendover on the other hand will bring back memories of the buick lesabre and the park avenue, that i used to own. The wendover is a beautiful design.

Man, I haven't been on for a while.

Anyway, the Wendover's looking good. I'm looking forward to the eventual release.

What year is the Wendover supposed to be? I assume it's somewhere between 1985-1991.

yeah, probably a similar production run to the legran, though i could see it setending into the early 90's as well
speaking of wendover production years, I wonder if it will come with some sort of light facelift from the get-go? maybe a set of compound headlights, and different taillights?

If the facelift you're describing would be similar to the Moonhawk's facelift, I think that's likely. Plus a lot of cars of the LeGran and Wendover's type didn't really change much for the 90s from what I can tell.
