Update Speculation thread

0.21 has the potential for being the most exciting update ever. D-series revamp pt-3, maybe Bolide revamp, maybe legran revamp, maybe even the Soliad. Definitely the WCUSA Remaster. I can imagine it in the devblog now, "0.21 - The 80's Update".

 

Australian utes are based on Australian cars. American utes are based on American cars. Not sure where the confusion is.

 

that's a USDM el camino though, a completely different car that was never sold in australia.
If there were to be a moonhawk utility, it would be based upon that and the ranchero, with that somewhat awkward B/C pillar, and set up exclusively for the USDM.
other than the various chevrolet/ford/studebaker coupe utility conversions of the 1930s and 40s (an official burnside based ute conversion would be cool), no australian utes have been based upon an american car, they've all been either a completely unique smaller design (albeit styled after US cars) or built on an opel platform in the case of the 80s and 90s commodores.
If we were to get an australian car eventually, i'd be interested to see what era they would pick- the 80's and 90's was the only time they were particularly distinct from american "midsizes", a most of those went FWD.

 

Since we're talking about the WCUSA remaster, what would you guys like to see. I personally think the devs should move the race track farther away and expand the map to probably the size of italy. Then introduce new thing like and airport, some hills for off-roading and some nice paved roads to let us cruise. And they would probably drop a surprise car like the wentward into the mix. Maybe gabe's concept list will come true. I would love to cruise around in the actual Civetta Fulmine, not some automation replica.

 

I love west coast USA but I have to agree that the track takes up a huge portion of the map. to make it the size of Italy they would have to practically be remade from scratch. But some off-road trails, another more rundown suburb and a slightly larger city would all add for a more enticing gaming experience.

P.S since the end of 2017, the only map I play regularly on is West coast USA

 

I love that track though, its a good track. my favorite for practice. If they make a city around it though that would be nice.

 

I agree but a problem with all these things we want to be changed is that all scenarios (mods) will be broken

The photomode is getting heavy changes soon, it looks awesome ! It kinda reminds me the photomode of bigger car games like The Crew or Forza Horizon 4

 

Love the real time DOF adjustment, I meant it was able to be done real time in the postfx menu however this is much more streamlined.

If you watched the video with the photomode you have probably noticed the cranes... I didn't notice em before and also I don' remember those two buildings...
