Case: side impact, with secondary rear-end collision hit-and-run, August 8th 2016.

Description: a young man on his phone forgot to look when pulling out of a junction- a driver in a very large pickup truck happened to be speeding towards him at that exact moment. The pickup driver, knowing it was not his fault, did not immediately react, and hit the front corner of the other car. Another pickup truck stopped to help them, but it parked in the middle of the lane which made navigating the scene more difficult. A teenager in a Hirochi Sunburst RS had hoped to make a gap, but an oncoming bus appeared and he could not stop in time, rear-ending the parked truck. With no insurance, he did not want to stop, and although the pickup's owner did get photos of the incident, he could not stop the getaway. The Sunburst was found by police later that day and did not stop for them either- a pursuit resulted, ending with the Sunburst understeering around a long, fast corner and rolling off the grass bank.

Injuries: the Pessima driver suffered a broken arm and leg, plus major lacerations from broken glass. The Sunburst's occupants, the teenage driver and his girlfriend, were both unharmed by the first crash, but in the rollover the driver suffered major head injuries leaving him in a coma, and his passenger was killed.

Vehicles involved: 1998 Ibishu Pessima Coupe, 2004 Gavril D35 double cab, 2003 Gavril D15, 2013 Hirochi Sunburst RS.

    Location: West Coast USA.

Aftermath: the Sunburst driver woke up after three days, with very little memory of what had happened. He was charged with a hit-and-run and causing death by dangerous driving and had his licence suspended- not like he would need it, as he took several months to return to a nearly-fully-functioning state. Once he appeared to have recovered, he was sentenced to fifteen years in prison. The Pessima driver admitted fault, saying he was taking an important phone call about a job interview- of course, he was not hired. The driver of the D35 was fine, but had to be restrained from attacking the Pessima driver in court and was given three months behind bars for his aggressive behaviour. While both trucks could be repaired, the two smaller Japanese cars could not.

Case: confused elderly driver causes multiple minor collisions, February 1st 1991.

Description: 85-year-old William Davis was looking to buy a new car to replace his old Gavril Mione, and naturally his first port-of-call was his local Gavril dealership in Belasco. He had been thinking of buying a Grand Marshal, however he decided that that car was too big and left in the same Mione he had arrived in. However, parking around the dealership was limited- where he had put his car was a space only kept clear to allow showroom cars to get in and out. Forgetting that he had left the Mione in gear, he hit the throttle and the car sped forward into a display Grand Marshal- when he tried backing up again, he tore the front bumper off on a tree and bumped into the glass front of the showroom. Going forward again he hit a wall, then backing up again he touched another display vehicle before heading out onto the road- without looking. Two cars were approaching, having been released from the last junction by a green light- one was hit by Davis' car, the other managed to avoid the old man but scraped the wall.

Injuries: none, though William was shaken by the incident when he finally realised what had happened.

    Vehicles involved: 1988 Gavril Mione 2.2, 1991 Gavril Grand Marshal, 1991 Gavril D15, 1989 ETK I-Series 3000i, 1977 Bruckell Moonhawk V8.

Location: Belasco City, West Coast USA.

Aftermath: William was advised against driving from that point forward, and he sold his ruined Mione for salvage. There were no legal repercussions for any other involved party, except for the ETK driver being paid out by her insurance. Both display cars, the Grand Marshal and the D15, had to be repaired (paid in part by William's family, though it was not much money because it was merely minor bodywork damage) and then relisted by Gavril's dealer network as used.

Most of that time it was just me I think, until a few days go when suddenly everyone was creating scenarios. Then it went quiet again. Let's keep it going!

Case: loss of control accident, November 30th 2009.

Description: a young man in a modified ETK was driving way too fast on an icy mountain road- naturally, over a crest he misplaced the car, causing it to slide sideways down the hill and off into some trees. Where it eventually came to rest was too difficult to recover from, so the car's owner and his friend decided it would be easier to simply push the wreck into the valley and lift it out in the spring.

Injuries: the driver of the car was the only occupant, and he suffered a few minor injuries but was able to walk away and call a friend for help.

    Vehicles involved: 1987 ETK I-Series 3000i.

    Location: Polish Mountains.

Aftermath: the ETK had lost a wheel and could not drive, so it was deemed not worth recovering by the friend (who had turned up in a 4x4 with the intention of pulling the car out). It was pushed further into the valley to be recovered and sent for scrap once the snow and ice had cleared.

Case: loss of control, October 1, 2017

Description: Mione driver was driving down a dirt road. The old Mione lost control after hitting a small bump in the road. Since his Mione had few safety features, the accident could have been worse. He called towing services and waited in his car.

    Injuries: none.

Vehicles Involved: 1987 Gavril Mione 3.3GT.

    Location: Northern Texas (Derby Arenas)

Aftermath: Mione was scrapped due to its age. Owner bought a new ETK 800 Series diesel. Road was leveled after the crash. Screenshot21.png Screenshot22.png Screenshot21.png Screenshot22.png Screenshot23.png

Case: loss of control causes bad accident, March 29, 2019.

Description: Dodge Charger driver was speeding down the road. His passenger was talking to him, and he was not paying attention to the road in front of him. He looked up and then he lost control of his car. The Blackfoot driver was driving around and then he tried to brake, as when he noticed the Charger sliding toward him, he did not know what to do. The Blackfoot driver had two passengers and a driver, one of the passengers was a child. The Charger slid into the Blackfoot near head on. The adult Blackfoot passenger flew forward, as the person was not wearing a seatbelt. The Charger passenger called the police.

Injuries: Blackfoot driver had a fractured knee, 1st passenger (child) had a medium leg injury, and the 2nd passenger had a major head injury. Charger driver had many critical injuries, including both legs broken and needed to be cut off, Passenger had a broken left arm and a head injury.

Vehicles Involved: 1990 Ibishu Blackfoot Deluxe, 2016 Dodge Charger GT.

    Location: Yellav Valley.

Aftermath: Charger driver died due to injuries being too bad to be alive. Both cars were scrapped, and the Blackfoot 2nd passenger had to have major surgery to fix the skull deformation. Everyone else survived, and lived on fine. The Blackfoot driver purchased a new ETK 800 Series 856TX.

    Case: rear-end collision, August 16th 2020.

Description: a taxi driver doing an airport run at 4am saw a space in the rank in which he could park- another cab had just left and the one behind had not noticed as he was on his phone. The driver just arriving locked on to the space, and took a wide swing so he could easily get into the space quickly. However, at the outside of his line was another car, which he did not see as he was looking at the parking space.

    Injuries: none.

    Vehicles involved: 2015 ETK 844tc, 2020 Cherrier Vivace 410.

    Location: the airport, Italy.

Aftermath: the taxi driver was fined for the damages, but was allowed to keep his job and was back on the road once his car was repaired. The ETK driver was also found partly at fault, as she had stopped in a no-waiting zone.

Case: impact with stationary vehicle, December 24th 2017.

Description: Karen was attending a Christmas Eve meal at a restaurant out in the countryside. On the way there, she received a message from her ex-husband, to which she had to immediately respond- despite driving at over 40mph on winding back roads. While sending the message, she arrived at the venue without noticing, and ploughed straight into a supplier's car- which was parked by the entrance.

Injuries: Karen suffered whiplash and glass cuts. Luckily the owner of the Kashira was inside the restaurant delivering food, so he was uninjured.

Vehicles involved: 2015 ETK Kc4t, 1998 Ibishu Kashira.

    Location: Scottish Highlands.

Aftermath: though Karen blamed her ex for the crash, just as she had blamed him for everything while they were together, that case fell through and she was found guilty of driving without due care and attention. When it transpired that she had been planning to drink wine with the meal and driver herself home afterwards, she was extremely lucky not to have pre-emptive drink-driving charges added on. She was banned from driving for two years, but once her car was repaired she forced her ex to claim it back and returned to motoring while still disqualified.

Case: rally accident, July 26th 2016.

Description: for one team in an amateur rally in Italy, things went very badly indeed. The co-driver was inexperienced, and the driver was unfamiliar with the course (the annual event had been moved at the last minute). They took a jump far too quickly and had not even landed by the next corner- the car ploughed into some trees and landed on its side.

Injuries: the driver suffered a broken arm but was otherwise saved by his safety equipment. The co-driver was okay.

    Vehicles involved: 2008 Gavril Vertex.

    Location: just outside Castelletto, Italy.

Aftermath: once the race marshals arrived, they ushered the spectators away, tipped the car back onto its wheels and towed it back to the pits. The event was called off for the day while the occupants of the Vertex were seen to by ambulance crews.

    Case: side-on impact, October 1st 2006.

Description: an offroad club doing some greenlaning in Poland found a tarmac road they needed to cross to continue their journey. The first of the group set off without even thinking about the increased risk that came from a bridge blocking their vision of the road- as it happened, there was a car there, which was sent off the road and into a tree.

Injuries: the driver of the other car sustained serious neck injuries and was trapped in the car. The offroaders were fine, and were all willing to help him.

Vehicles involved: 1992 Ibishu Hopper, 1989 Ibishu Pessima 2.0.

    Location: Polish Mountains.

Aftermath: the Hopper driver was found at fault and was given a fine for the damages. One of the occupants of the car behind his was an editor for Hopper Club Poland, a magazine dedicated to Ibishu Hopper owners, who was writing an article about the driving tracks in the region- he gave a completely different account of the events, saying the Pessima was speeding and that his colleague had been very cautious- this, he later claimed, saved his friend losing their licence.

    Case: rear-end collision, September 21st 1995.

Description: a boy racer in an Ibishu Pessima GTZ decided to see how fast he could get the car to go. He reached 90mph on the autopista before having to brake and swerve because a bus was in his lane- however, he did not react in time. Another car, while the wreckage was being cleared, almost hit the Pessima- the driver had fallen asleep, woken up and overcorrected their course, losing control and spinning into the barrier.

Injuries: the Pessima driver had to be airlifted to hospital in critical condition.

Vehicles involved: 1990 Ibishu Pessima GTZ, 1996 Ibishu Kashira, 1997 Wentward DT40.

    Location: Italy.

Aftermath: the Pessima driver had a broken neck, and spent several months in hospital, his recovery uncertain. The bus driver, having presented his ID, realised that the bus was virtually untouched and that his passengers were all fine, drove off before police arrived- he was tracked down by the bus' registration number and fired, as well as convicted of a hit-and-run.

Description: an impatient pickup driver went to overtake a slower car, but the road was narrow and there was an oncoming SUV that he could not avoid.

Injuries: the SUV driver suffered a broken arm and leg. The pickup driver had whiplash, but was otherwise fine.

Vehicles involved: 1990 Gavril D25, 1997 Gavril Roamer, 1996 Ibishu Pessima.

    Location: Utah.

Aftermath: the pickup driver was found fully at fault and his licence was suspended for a year. Both vehicles were repaired, but the cost of the extensive damage to the Roamer, plus the driver's medical bills, plunged him into debt, forcing his wife to take up a second job to try and avoid the bailiffs coming round.

    Case: head-on collision, April 4th 2014.

Description: a young man in a Hirochi had gotten stuck behind someone who clearly was not local and was going, in his opinion at least, too slowly. The car in front was all over the road, doing less than 30km/h most of the time. The Hirochi driver saw an opportunity to overtake on an empty section of pavement, however there was an oncoming bus and he could not move back across in time.

Injuries: two bus passengers, who had been standing up ready to get off, fell to the floor- though one survived with only concussion, the other did not fare quite as well, and passed away due to a brain haemorrhage. The Hirochi driver suffered some cuts, and his girlfriend in the front passenger seat had a broken arm.

Vehicles involved: 2011 Hirochi Sunburst, 2003 Wentward DT40.

    Location: Dublin.

Aftermath: the Hirochi was repaired, but it was expensive and took a while. Its driver was charged with causing death by dangerous driving and received a 15-year prison sentence.

I was ok but I had a little headache after that! However, I've continued my driving lessons 'til I got my license last January!
