facts, did you tell the rangeit dev to make my truck compatible? cause I don't think there's a way to have it on my semi without changing the rangeit mod files. If he does not responds I'll try making my own script for my semi. Also I am working on fixing the manual transmission.

 

well, that's good news, but I don't actually own a stering wheel with H shfter right now, so I personally don't use RangeIT. itachipirate was the one asking, but I hope he read the answer you gave XD knowing that there is a way to make a 12 speed transmission possible do make me want to purchase one though XD

oy, i got some more suggestions for this great mod!

i havent posted on here for a hot minute, so ill cut right to the chase:
first of all, a bug ive been having with it is that the rear suspension is deafeningly loud over any kind of bumpy terrain, is this planning to be fixed?

now, for the suggestions

1. i would like to see a short version of the flatbed that matches the length of the B75 frame (without the sleeper of course) so that i can have a flatbed and still tow with it.
2. along with the short flatbed (and maybe for the normal length one as well) i would really love to see sideboards that we can put on the flatbed, as well as a tailgate. and maybe even have stake sides to go on top of those?
3. i would love to see a cab with a slightly lower roof, and perfectly vertical, flat windshields, kinda like the old m35a2.


i would love to do all these myself, but i have no experience with modding in this game

hope you keep these in mind

edit: to fix the issue with being able to tow with the flatbed, i tried the B85 frame with the very rear (3rd) axle removed (i dont like the turning radius as an 8x8) but that caused the 2nd axle to not get power, even with the driveshaft going to it.

edit 2: could we also get optional, less-stiff leaf spring rear suspension in the future? i cnat stand how stiff the airbags are offroad.

 

I didnt ask the creator of RangeIT no. Sorry, I shouldn't be asking you to make your mod compatible with a random other mods. RangeIT hasn't been updated in a very long time actually... I doubt anyone would be able to get a hold of that mod creator. Thank you for being available through this forum thread and continuously updating your mod

Another way to achieve the same effect is to make a 6speed transmission with a high/low transfer case to make driving with 12 speeds using the H shifter and a high/low range switch bound to the steering wheel possible. I would just like to be able to use my H shifter for gears above 6th in any way. I really don't want to use arcade shifting either it ruins the immersion.

I have a Logitech G29 with shifter which is probably the same or similar setup that many people playing BeamNG will be using. Like carlover6x6 replied, they also have a 6 speed H shifter setup

That literally shares no parts with this truck. It would require him making an entirely new jbeam, most likely from scratch if he doesn't want it to crash like shite. That would be better suited to the vehicle suggestions thread.

 

he probably means, just make a config like that, not a carbon copy. But yeah theres no way you can incorporate a heavy duty truck that lumbers across distances with tons of cargo into a rally truck with lightweight parts and suspension. It would not look right

I know you plan on making a fire truck upfit, which I believe I saw on this thread, looked like a fire dept tanker upfit. I was gonna ask if you can also do fire truck upfit like the ETK 6000 (Pictured Below) which sadly, is outdated, If you could do that along with the tanker upfit, I'd really appreciate it! I absolutely can not wait for the fire truck tanker upfit along with more planned upfits you have in store!!!
