Well, I mean, first off, I don't think you finished the repair, but I don't know what happened exactly Secondly, it can only fix the unibody and things still on the car. If something is BROKEN, its BROKEN.
I let it take a good 30 minutes and that's as far as it got. I honestly wasn't expecting the re-generator to completely fix that mess. It was more just my weird sense of humor than anything else. I had tried it out originally on the d-series after hitting a small tree at 10mph and was impressed at how well it worked. I just couldn't resist giving it a slightly more challenging test. Seriously though, Dummiesman does good work. I have the FS65 bus and it's so close to the real world one I drive. Very impressive!
30 MINUTES GOD DAMN BOI Usually it just fixes the body, but the body wasn't completely in shape. Even at the highest speeds, the main body usually fixes itself. And its like under a minute to do Thats why I'm a bit confused dude
Wow. 30 minutes is dedication. I want to eventually :tm: look into a better, mathematical way of determining how fast each part of a car can be repaired, and also restore the resting length of things, instead of the full length. This would allow suspensions to be repaired in theory too.
Oh, I didn't sit and watch it the whole time. After the first 10 minutes it was fairly obvious it wasn't going to go much farther restoring the car than it did. I just went and did something else for a while and then came back and it was still in the same spot so I cancelled the restore. The re-generator works fine really. I just took it to an extreme. edit: annoying spelling mistakes!
yeah I'm only on v0.19 because it works on that version for me. I have v0.20.2 on steam and it doesn't work for me. Maybe I'm just missing something --- Post updated --- here's a screenshot if your interested, for me it just fixes the glass and says it's complete. --- Post updated --- I found my issue, my codename mod was outdated as well, so as I updated that mod and the regenerator started working. Sorry for wasting your time guys my fault!
Works only for a body damage. (not bumpers) If you broke your halfshaft/engine/tire/driveshaft it wont fix it
Hey, would it be possible to have a reverse process for this? Like a random damage generator or something?
that would be interesting, but not needed. just go crash lightly or use the fun stuff in the radial menu.
