I’m well aware of that, and I believe my last post made my opinion on it clear. In fact, to me it looks exactly like the unholy Ford amalgamation I just posted.

It definetly sounds like it wouldn't work, but I honestly like how it looks in the files. I'm not as big of a fan of the in game photoshops/mods though. The accessories and gray color in the files version helps the look a lot. The model years and trim levels would have to be shifted around a bit for it to make sense, but I do think there is a way it could work. It could just as easily go horribly wrong though...

I hate to suggest another big vehicle project that wouldn't add any new driving dynamics (especially for a platform that already has so much content compared to the rest of the roster), but at this point I feel like a Roamer pickup would be sensible addition. I don't even want it all that much, but it's certainly a safer bet for the early 2000's pickup slot than another facelift, and it would more or less be a sawzalled Roamer with a pickup bed in the back since we already have all the frames and drivetrain items in game (To be fair, most vehicle projects sounds easier when you say "just use a sawzall", as that would be a ton of stuff to maintain and all).

As for the interior changes: hopefully this means headrests and optional factory bucket seats.

I think the Roamer should also have selectable wood trim in the Parts Selector. I just want an interior that isn't gray without fake wood.
Edit: I'm tired and said that weirdly.

Well this one should have a race interior with lots of switches and gauges, thats for sure. But with it being a prerunner and not a trophy truck, it should still be nice to be in. So no bench seats, thats for sure.

it doesn't look that bad, I actually quite like the look of the facelift D series, (that F150 is hideous though), but the 2000s trucks definitely weren't that boxy, looks like an early 90s Chevy S10 with late 90s-early 00s Ford F150 styling, for 00s the body would have to be rounded off a little imo, but it works great as an early 90s facelift

I hope these things come with air bumps. Love seeing them in action hitting those axles softening the blow!

    Directions unclear, *makes seats wooden*

Ah yes hopefully I can get to it, although the interior remaster is taking a ton of time, I definitely want to get everything out to you all asap :D!
Ahhhhh yesss, they function like real bump stops too ;)

Wood trim would make sense for the Pre Facelift (I mentioned this suggestion on Instagram @6a13tt99) as Pickups like the Dodge Ram and Ford F Series did have options for fake wood trim (like most US vehicles of the 80's) on higher trims during the 80's. As you said it won't make as much sense for the 1990's and 2000's model D series though (maybe as some sort of special final edition luxury option?).

Brushed aluminium interior trim pieces would be nice too (like the 70's - 80's Chev C/K).

Just curious, is the interior remaster taking you longer than the rest of the pre runner build did? I'm sure its all gonna turn out great thanks for all your hard work!

The 1992-1996 F150 and Bronco Eddie Bauer trim package had optional faux wood grain on the dash and door panels (my '92 and my '95 Eddie Bauer Broncos have the same silver trim as my '95 XLT Bronco with the "Eddie Bauer" script replacing the XLT).

This is a 1996 Eddie Bauer Bronco:

Thank you! Also yes it is taking me longer, but keep in mind, I worked on the crawler for a long time before posting. BeamNG is still a small company, so we do many things :). Hopefully I can get it out to you all soon!
Welllll, I mean I do want to do a long travel Subaru *cough* sunburst. But I honestly don't know what my next vehicle will be. I will try to think of something crazy cool!

not a bus but basically what you described is a Dakar truck, would be interesting to see one in game, if they ever make a flat nosed semi I could see it possibly being a config or if not a mod later on

back on topic though, I'm really excited for this truck, I've already thought up multiple configs I want to make with this new suspension
