I have to hard agree. It sounds nice, but @Cory5503 you're making it sound like he can't defend himself, and from talking to the dude, I know that isn't the case.
Nobody takes into consideration how Grind feels. On both sides, nobody is treating the dude like a human, and its quite sad.
The only victim of this whole thing is @Grind86. Dude, I'm sorry all of this has happened. Feel free to DM me about it.

i should have offered an invitation to help him rather than come off the way i did. if hindsight is 20/20, i messed up and im willing to admit that. i still dont appreciate entirely how you responded but you've apologized, so there's no use in pursuing it further. I'm sorry myself too.

thats the result of too sharp of an angle of edgesplit iirc
try 60* then 30*
if you've done both of those, try a softer angle?

That sadly did not work. I had to put the angle to 5* in order to see any change.

 

5* is way too little, even 50* is low for a beamng car. Though I would recommend edge splitting manually using the edge angle check box unchecked and using ctrl+e and mark sharp on the edges you want sharpened.

Are you applying the edge split modifier, if so you shouldn't be, there's an option in the exporting menu to apply modifiers upon export so it doesn't mess up the model. To 'undo' the apply, select all those vertices, and do merge by distance which can be found here:
