Buying any sort of project car or sports car is a terrible idea if you're out of work or need a first car, no matter how cheap or old. Insurance is going to cost more and it's bound to be less reliable. Just get a used Fit if you need a car. Fuel efficient, good on insurance and fun.
My first car was a moped, that was all I had lol. My dad gave me his m3 so the moped is in the bin now.
Not in my country. We have cheap Skylines with 2.0 and Toyota Crowns, etc. But the gas is expencive, so are US and JDM cars, excetpt for potato cars with auto transmission
I'd say that's not a great idea. Not very fuel efficient, and would probably be hard to find one in good condition. Besides, once you're back on your feet you could turn the Fit into a brilliant little track car.
Hmm, a high horsepower car with V-tec would feel like a clutch kick I guess.. like, a bump in power instantly after a certain rpm.. the car needs to be producing a lot of power and torque for it to kick out like that tbh..
this isnt a honda civic why would you put a vtec engine in it you cursed individual supposed to be a joke guys
Why not? Variable Valve Timing isn't just some Honda thing that no one has ever tapped into... it's been on the 2J, the 1J, the RB, and a bunch of other tuner engines. iirc the SR20 also had a VCT head available...
