Really interesting vehicle! Though, i think there are too many Gavril muscle car mods. (Gavril Bandit, Gavril Gladiator) I would recommend you to use another brand if possible, like Bruckell. --- Post updated --- Yeah and also i think this car looks more Bruckell than Gavril...
welp, it's too late to change the thread title. I am going to have two variants this is only the repository version but I'm also going to put it in as the 1972 Ford Gran Torino for the forums.
Don't mind the color, I like the change it up as I model just to see how the car looks in different reflections and colors. Got the windshield in along with the wind shield trim. It feels like I'm building a real car! Next I have to fill in the rest of the glass, and finished up the trim and rear end. After that, onto the interior.
Yeah! But good luck with the JBeaming and Coding, because most modders give up on that part... oh and btw, have you thought about a possibly better name for the Repository version?
I'm still scared about that part I won't lie, but I need this car in beam ng for a movie I want to make. If anything If I could find someone to help me with that stuff it would be great, but I'm not counting on it. I already know I want to name the car the Grande Toranto, it's a play on the name Gran Torino which literally means Great Turin, Turin is a city in italy, and Toranto is a play on Taranto another place in italy. Grande also means great in Italian.
I have seen some beginner modders contact more experienced ones for help, but i don't guarantee that they will accept. Oh and maybe i wasn't clear for the second part. I meant under what brand will the Grande Toranto be sold?
Yeah that's what I figured. If someone offers to jump in and help me with that stuff they'd be literally a god, I can model everything though that is a skill I do have. I don't know about brand name, I'm kinda attached to the Gavril name, unless I wanted to go full italian (like the model name) and make it an autobello, but otherwise, Bruckell seems more like Chevrolet and Buick and Pontiac to me and Burnside is more like Oldsmobile, Gavril reminds me more of Ford which is what this is. --- Post updated --- Just finished up all the windows. Trim as well, Side trim was getting very angry but I managed to make it work. I also let the side window extrude down into the door since side windows are longer than they look, probably doesn't look like that but it won't really be seen since it'll be broken before you ever get to see it. Anyways, Lo0ok!
Just finished up all the windows. Trim as well, Side trim was getting very angry but I managed to make it work. I also let the side window extrude d lol tell me that does not sound like the Buick Grand National, even with the look of this car I'm sure people will still think about that.
