About this Mazda RX-7

Just grabbed this not too long ago. Nice cars, however, some work -- some don't. I've diagramed them. The go's beat the no-go's by a score of 13-10. Not bad, but I'd have liked a higher percentage than that. A rather odd array of those that spawn vs. those that crash the game... seems rather random.

At least the "Maxspeed (SQ)" works... that's a fun one. Fiberglass panels all over the place and in the pine trees in ECU!

I know this isn't a new mod, but it's new for me. Anyone else having issue with it? Is it a v0.20 "busted the car" sort of thing, and learn to live with it? Or is there a fix?

iirc any config with a backseat will hard crash the game
however I have not tested this myself

the problem is in the body. when in tuning I chose unibody instead of race body my beamng crashed

Where did you get the mod? I would love to experience this but I can't find it, thanks in advance. also thanks for the list of cars that won't work.

You have to take the Widebody, and remove the rear seats. Then you can switch to the Unibody, it has Something to do with the rear seats.

 

Thanks for this, didn't want to go through the effort of finding out which ones work and which don't and having the game crash each time. At this point ill take a lore fiendly rx7 that looks similar, just want that rotary engine... call it something like Ibishu jx-7

How to do you acces the dae file of the rx7? Cuz everytime i import it to blender it just shows me a "parsing" error.

unzip the rx7 mod and the dae file will be there and when your done just zip the file

i think i found the issue. the rx7 unibody has a very dense mesh. i have no way in fixing it cuz i cant access it in blender.
