    people liked them because they were so spectacular, but modern cars still do it, if they slide, they go over.

    No they wont. They solved that issue many years ago. It's very rare for an LMP to go over from spinning. 99% of the time they'll only flip over aerodynamically from outside sources like hitting another car or getting launched off of a kerb/rumble strip.
