What I notice is that when you combine in game and mods cars you have like 10-20 ibishus and like 3 etks which’s sucks for me cause the only cars I like to drive are luxury cars
low key though, the Prius had a good design, especially in the later years. it was particularly pleasing to look at tbh. too bad the people that drove them were beyond moronic lol
i think the game could also use more kinds of the cars that we already have, like some more SUVs and hatchbacks for example, a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer or a 2009 Mazda 3
we need some 1930/1940's cars like these: 1930's cars: 1) Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow 1934 2) Cadillac V16 1930 3) Hudson Coupe 1937 1940's cars: 1) Lincoln Continental Convertible 1942 2) Tucker Torpedo 1948 3) Cadillac 75 Fleetwood 1947 4) Cadillac 62 Sedan 1949 @P_enta and @I_Like_Trophy_Trucks @italy0047 your opinions in this post?
I also think the devs could try and bring in other kinds of vehicles, like a Cross over, dev-made convertible, a modern transit van, dev-made mini-van, and maybe even a limousine.
The devs keep on putting in cars similar to what we already have. The wendover and legran are very similar, the barstow and moonhawk too. We have no modern supercars, or cars before the 50s.
personally, i'd love to see a 1980's Cadillac Limo maybe a 2018 Chevy City Express too another cool hybrid idea would be a 2019 Chevy Volt
https://www.beamng.com/resources/2009-hirochi-sunburst-5-door-hatchback.2498/ might fill that hole for now
honestly, i think it'd just be better if the devs started doing votes for cars every time they were gonna start making one, kinda like how minecraft has the mob votes. each vote would be something different, like the first category would be for a modern car. they'd narrow it down to what genre of car (station wagon, sedan, hatch, etc.) and then they'd narrow down the year, then narrow down what they'd base it off of.
I would love if we can vote for cars we can get, cause i literally dont care for lke 75% of the cars in the game
i have names too: for 1930's Cars: 1) 1934 Doyler Fletcher 2) 1930 Gavril Morello (Name taken from Morello's car in Mafia 1: Lost Heaven) 3) 1937 Gavril Volkland For 1940's cars: 1) 1942 Gavril Castletown 2) 1948 Gavril Tornado 3) 1947 Gavril Lancaster 4) 1949 Gavril Folkstarn
in the end though, we just gotta be patient. more cars will come, modern and classic, and with time, the quality will also get better.
Beam doesn't do that well with damage of complex plastics, which tend to break into a million pieces in a major crash (and which modern cars are full of), so focusing on the older, simpler-shaped vehicles makes more sense for the engine.
