There is only one manufacturer who can make driven drop axle, if i had understood right.
Could not find any better pic for it, but there you can see, rear axle is driven too, but it is drop axle too, so there is some kind of disconnector for drive shaft when lifted.

Blog where i find this pic, and they tell you little bit more (or not): http://www.tachoblog.com/leg-lifting-super-sisu-timber-truck/

I have drive like this one many times, but newer look under the chassis, how they had build that system, they say than it is unique system, than no one else have never make anything like that.

I did not find any diagram, how it works, it just works and it is extremely reliable too.

No, Actually they are made for weight distribution. I work at a hydraulic shop and the trucks with lift axles have them to keep them from blowing out a tire. And a STEERABLE lift axles are extremely rare. Like only for extra long trucks and its done by hydraulics for an aprox. 15-18 degree turn radius. for tight cornering.

The drive is running with a differential, just like every 4WD truck, you can unlock the diff so you can drive 2 wheel drive. The drive shaft is always connected, and if it wasn't it would eat away at the Ujoint in the axle. And believe me, that is not the only truck with a drivable lift axle. Front discharge concrete mixers, a few dump trucks, And a lot of semi's that are made almost specifically for low boy trailers. That may be the case in Europe, but in America they are pretty common.

    Not yet, because, as stated in the post directly above yours;
So just be patient; after all, you can't rush perfection :D

And he's talking about trailers, as in wheeled things towed behind other vehicles. I think you're referring to videos.

Once the Sunburst is done this should be done pretty quick I assume. Since all it needs is an interior and body texture+UV map :p.

    Looking forward to both ;)

Well, we all know it can make Pigeon and Covet stew :)

I am excited for all cars to come, especially the 'planned' vehicles. You know, the vehicles on the Wiki that Gabe has planned but not modeled yet. I really wonder what the Ibishu Hopper will be. I think it would be a little van or something. I'm really curious! :)

Fair warning your probably going to need a pretty solid system to be able to use this truck. A 2500k would probably be the lowest end u could use and it be playable. There's a lot of tires loads of jbeam and lots of stuff going on that it will take a good setup.

Heck the moonhawk with its excessive jbeam puts a hit on my 3770k to the point where if I spawned a bunch of them I could have more covets on screen than moonhawks and get 30+fps.

    Beep Beep, Tapatalk coming through..

Yeah anyone that doesn't have a high end rig really shouldn't get to worked up about this truck. You won't be able to run it well.
This is pretty low on my anticipated list because my shit computer won't be able to run it.
If I had a high end system then I'd be looking forward to it, but for now, whatever. :|

Since the Pre-Race update, intensive cars don't bother my rig anymore. Even the most intensive vehicles give me the same performance as the pigeon and covet. They really optimized the physics.

I might expect some FPS drop, but nothing major.

Yes it might be on your PC but that doesn't actually mean all users could run the T75 fine..
