Re: Gavril D15 Stepside/Flareside & Flatbed Can there be a version without the brake light flares, I am finding them a bit annoying. Love everything else though!
Re: Gavril D15 Stepside/Flareside & Flatbed The new one will have the updated specs of the new updated D15, I think it's much less. If you want the brake light 'spotlights' to disappear, put a double slash before spotlight in the prop section of the taillight jbeam. Like //["brake" , "SPOTLIGHT" , .... In other news; I made some progress on the longest variants of the HD version.
Re: Gavril D15 Stepside/Flareside & Flatbed That extended version looks amazing, but it does look a bit too long. Maybe it'd look better if you shortned the bed? Keep up the good work though!
Re: Gavril D15 Stepside/Flareside & Flatbed I've been watching this mod ever since the first few posts, and oh my god, it looks amazing! The new versions are looking really good, and the current version is my favourite D-15 mod so far. Keep it up!
Re: Gavril D15 Stepside/Flareside & Flatbed How does this mod work after the Pre-Race update? Have you had to update it at all?
Re: Gavril D15 Stepside/Flareside & Flatbed It did work after the update, but it drove (obviously) like the old D15. To be sure I rebuilded the entire mod using the new D15 files. Most noticeable differences were in the tires, suspension and spotlights. Also the .DAE changed a bit in the slidenodes update, the tie rod is now one large rod instead of two. It caused the VY-error.
Re: Gavril D15 Stepside/Flareside & Flatbed Thanks for the amazingly quick reply! Have you updated the mod to reflect your changes yet or is it still in the works?
Re: Gavril D15 Stepside/Flareside & Flatbed The bed is 8' long atm, which is I think the regular size for a late 1980's/early 1990's crew cab. Almost all Chevy 3500 (and similar Ford and Dodge versions) Crew cabs on Google Images ( ) have an 8' foot bed. Putting a smaller bed on it requires a shorter wheelbase, creating another wheelbase (there are 3 different wheelbases now) consumes a lot of time, which I don't have. Maybe in some time I will create one, for a crew cab with a short (6'4) bed and a extended single cab (quad cab?) with the 8' bed. But it won't happen in the near future It's still in the works. Some parts still need n/b's, the mesh is practically finished. The downloadable version on the first post (2014_05_27.zip) is the old pre-'pre-race update', which uses the old D15. There's no HD/crewcab version in it. I'll try to release the update at the end of the week/beginning of next week.
Re: Gavril D15 Stepside/Flareside & Flatbed i know you probably get asked this all the time, but when do i get to haul these bad boys around? i'll take an early broken version of it if you feel kind
Re: Gavril D15 Stepside/Flareside & Flatbed The bed looks the right length to me, that is one of the biggest pet-peeves of mine, trucks in games that have the wrong size beds, so far BeamNG has been one of the best. The only manufacturer to offer a short bed dually is Dodge, and that is only in the last 3 or 4 years. Ford did for about 6 months from 01-02. The only thing that I would change looks wise is the actual dually fenders, they look like the ones for the 73-87 Bodystyle, which I think look great, but wrong for that bodystyle. I would lean towards making them look more like the ones for a GMT400, like the ones on the beautiful green GMC below. Also, just for sh1ts and giggles, hows about west coast mirrors? like for the duallys and the ramp truck, not junior westies, but legitimate west coast mirrors like on my F250.
Re: Gavril D15 Stepside/Flareside & Flatbed I love the look of them man, very professional! Also I drove around the nevad map for about an hour just cruising with the flareside.
Re: Gavril D15 Stepside/Flareside & Flatbed Yeah I know about the dually fenders. I first thought the D15 was a mid 80's truck, so based on that I made the stepside which is the bases for the dually fenders. Maybe I'll make a modern version one day. And maybe I can use a adjusted version of the T75 mirrors. ---- Updated! See the first post. Also added the crew cab and station 'cab'. There are still a lot of errors (see the opening post) and unfinished parts, but I ran out of time so here it is I'll continue in some weeks.
Re: Gavril D15/D25/D35 Stepside, Flatbed, Crewcab, Station Zip on first post is still labelled release_2014_05_27, downloading to see if it has been updated and is just named incorrectly but taking ages on my web - - - Updated - - - [SUP]Ok, I cannot for the life of me find what post its meant to be attached to, but if you hit the view files attached to thread button up top and browse through the list, the updated file is there WHY THE HELL HAS MY FONT CHANGED[/SUP]
Re: Gavril D15/D25/D35 Stepside, Flatbed, Crewcab, Station It's probably my fault. The first time I pressed 'close window' it probably wasn't uploaded completely
