Rope physics. The mesh for one has actually existed for ages now.

Personally I'm not sure why they don't toss a wheel lift/roll back/ramp truck in game in the mean time. A ramp truck would be quick to make, and a roll back would just be a mini version of the one we already have. Perhaps it's because they wouldn't want to use an existing frame or make a new one for the 20th time, and maybe a wheel lift would have collision issues. Just guessing there.

My theory is that the first Roamer didn't come until 1992, and was inspired by the Kentarch. Why would Ketarch go into so much trouble if there was already a Roamer (and an LXT35)?

Dear, Forum reader or Dev Team
I have some ideas of new models for the d series.
    1. A utility bed style, which can come with a bed rack on the top of it

    2. A cherry picker model of the truck

    3. A more iconic type of tool box for the bed, (this may only be iconic in the US)

    4. a lighter duty version of the flat bed tow truck

    5. another option for amber cylinder beacon, maybe have multiple options of a location to put the beacon.

ideas for locations of the beacon could be in the center or front 2 corners of the roof, also maybe it could be mounted on a pole in the bed

    6. A arrow board as a light bar option, maybe an option for the bed, idk

If I have more ideas, I will post them.
Thanks for reading my form post.
    Sincerly,
    DuceDuck

(Reposting cause some stuff I didn't really like that much and some stuff I missed) Now that I think of it we need: Hoodstacks, bedstacks, bucket seats, more 8-lug rims dually and singles, big 8 lug rims like specialty forged wheels available in singles and duals, body colored offroad bumpers, another offroad bumber, compound turbo kits on the diesel, a newer generation, maybe a Bruckell competitor, and a chassis cab with rear lights mounted to the frame.

Why the hell would a 1980s 6 cylinder truck engine sound like a 1940s 4 cylinder tractor engine?

this is very simple and not much of a contribution to the thread but i feel like the 4.5 and 5.5 v8s need different carb options, atm they only have efi and that didnt release on ford or chevy trucks until 87 (afaik, could be wrong) would be okay for the intermediate and standard trucks but the bullnose esque d series should be carbed all the way round

I agree, but they need pushrod engines for the 2 pre-facelifts. Currently, they have OHC engines which weren't a thing on pickups until Ford did it in the mid-late 90s.

Yes along with the 5.4 that would launch spark plugs into the hood.

Mate, I do not know where you got that from. Toyota HiLux, Mitsubishi Triton/Strada, Nissan Navara/Frontier (and Nissan Datsun Truck/Hardbody), Mazda Proceed, Isuzu Faster/Rodeo already had SOHC/DOHC in the mid to late 1980s.

    they are 4 cylinder japanese trucks though. the D-series is a winga-dinga gas-slurping stone-age-technology enormous-v8 american- pick-em-up-truck.
for which an OHC setup is anachronistic even for the late 90's (ford only put the modular in the f150 in 1999)

Japanese trucks/SUVs were much more high tech at the time than American vehicles in the same class. All of the trucks/SUVs you mentioned are also much smaller than anything built on Gavril's truck platform. When I park my Suburban (basically a Kentarch D-Series) next to a D21, it dwarfs the Nissan as its about half the size. Zoll summed it up really nicely in the post above mine, I just wanted to go into a little more detail.

D series really needs a trim revamp. The most accurate would be this-
    upload_2020-11-4_19-25-37.png
Though, the most convenient would be-
    upload_2020-11-4_19-31-51.png
    upload_2020-11-4_19-31-11.png
I vote for convenient (Ditch the Kentarch, drift, and Custom classic)
