Unfortunately I'm not done with the Jbeam. I still got to set all the node weights and beam strengths which I'm finding rather difficult to do. --- Post updated --- It's an original, although I could make a 964 in the future --- Post updated --- Sure! Though I'm not sure why you'd want me to do that.
Topography of the mesh and poly count has a lot to do with performance of the vehicle in beamng, as you may have noticed the default vehicles are quite low poly but have very well thought out topography with good vert spacing.
Sure! Though I don't Mine's probably not that great. (keep in mind it isn't triangulated for ease of editing)
That looks incredible. I wish I had your 3D modeling skills. Since I don't, I can only wish you good luck with the rest of the mod.
My "modeling skills" come from a series of tutorials on making cars in blender. Here's the first one if you're interested:
yes, suspension is a very fine art to get dialled in. If you're not already, i suggest using the suspension jbeam from vanilla cars as a base, whatever's the most accurate to the real car's setup.
I see ETK as a stereotypical German car manufacturer, with the 800 and K-Series being BMW-like cars but the I-Series not quite
How would I go about doing that? Right now I'm just copying node by node as best I can. Is there a way I can use an entire suspension setup from another car?
