Looking at this recent post...no. https://beamng.com/threads/1141/page-5103#post-1248469 You can see that the bed has been textured, so there has been SOME progress.
Title says WIP, I'm still active on the forums... Yeah it's not dead. Anyway, the last thing I did on it was simply some 0.20 compatibility changes regarding the wheels. I haven't textured the bed yet, for some reason now the game has assigned some placeholder material to it. The bed and the fenders will eventually be body colored as they should be. This has always been a side project, used mainly to test stuff on, the only reason you guys know about it is because of some poor judgement on my part a couple years ago. I thought making a thread would help me focus on it more, that never happened. Currently my attention is completely focused on finishing this thing I keep teasing in Community Screenshots; Technically it's the spiritual successor of this project, they even share many of the same core JBeam structures. After that's released, I'll probably shift back here for a bit, especially since my interest in prewar and Brass era vehicles is growing again.
I don't think so unless it's like 90% done. If you make a thread too early there will always be people who complain about stuff that is not yet finished. And kids begging to be beta testers.
Yeah I'm holding off on a dedicated thread until it's time to release it. Though while we're talking about it, I can mention that it's definitely reaching the 90% mark quickly. The quality of the crashes easily surpasses all my other mods now with minimal clipping; Whereas a week ago it was still a mess. Asides from the front wheels wanting to invert (Just need better limiter placement to stop this,) crash quality is almost where it should be. Personally I've seen official cars that have more collision issues than this. As for the JBeam structures, everything major asides from the exhaust, fuel tank, and engine thermals (all of which are currently using placeholders,) are JBeamed and in-game. I just got skins implemented last night, with the first skin made being my signature Rusty skin; All done using photos and hours of work in Paint.NET tweaking and positioning everything manually. Definitely turned out to be a bit dirtier than any of my previous rusty skins, though it's oddly fitting for a 90 year old truck. Things are coming along nicely, this train is still on schedule for an arrival time of sometime in the not too distant future, and arriving right on time
Config idea (maybe a bit too much work) Military version like this lil' boi or or this one Omg the creator liked my idea
this mod here is really impressive, nice work in the detail of the car, especially the rusted out one, the textures are realistic, the design is realistic, good luck with the rest of it
Wow I remember when I first took a look at your Blue Collar well over a year ago and man do I have to say your models look amazing. Good work keep it up man!
