Hirochi SBR4

How would a convertible SBR even work really? I can't imagine it being like the Porsche convertibles since it has a much boxier shape.

 

Lets see if I can make a post about the different types of convertibles and correctly use all my terms without googling them....

I imagine the only options are a Targa or a Spyder/Speedster, a hard top wouldn't work with the SBR design. I'd be happy with either personally. Well, I'd by happy with both. Porsche offers the same model with different types of convertibles, so why not Hirochi?

The transmission of the SBR4 received a big nerf after 0.21 update. Please watch this video of Driven Till Destruction, note how Alex drive away the SBR4 after losing a front wheel at 16:06

The SBR4 is a rear-engined RWD/AWD(the base model is RWD) vehicle, thus losing a front wheel(or front driveshaft) of the AWD the SBR4 will drive away like an RWD

However after the 0.21 update, the SBR4 won't move when losing a front wheel, the AWD becomes almost 0WD after losing a single wheel

Note how ridiculously low the Wheel torque is at the lower-left of the screenshots.
Also note the center differential is eating most if not all of the engine torque.

Although I don't know what exactly happened in the torque calculation of the differential, there is a viable solution with no side effect.
Locate the file "Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles\sbr.zip" then open the "sbr.zip\vehicles\sbr\sbr_transaxle.jbeam" scroll further down to

Regarding esbr:
This gear selector does not make sense having been in multiple EV's myself. The systems I have seen in modern EV's are digital, that being it's nothing like the typical automatic selection and more like what the e-vivace has.
This also seems to have an "M" mode, which for a car that only has one gear does not make any sense.

SBR4 model years definitely need some work imo. As of now you have the SBR4 and eSBR running from 2013 to 2020. The eSBR looks way too modern for 2013, and the SBR4 looks too dated for 2020.

I'd propose something like this:
2013-2015:
Gas only with current gas design

2016-present:
Gas with an eSBR like facelift (but with vents and more black plastic)
eSBR with the current eSBR design.

This would make a lot more sense than the current setup.

Lol but when I open the boxer engine dae in blender I have found the intercoolers lol (which I will probably use them in my Hirochi Sunstorm mod)

 

Hello guys i dont know why but i have a problem with the ESBR configs hood front and rear bumpers are always black anyone know why?
