there's a bulge in the hood Dennis Mateja is NinetyNine the post's description is hinting towards something new in terms of engine does this mean... official covet blitz? superturbo?
LLEGO EL JAPONES TOYOTA COROLLA *Flies through Corolla Banner* Dont ask me why i know the lyrics. Also to everyone speculating about the engine, my money is on the official version of the Covet Blitz.
the biggest problem i see against the VR6 theory is that the VR engines have never been seen in Japanese cars in the same way a Rotary has. --- Post updated --- https://beamng.com/resources/ibishu-covet-blitz.2763/
So that means the LeGran, Bolide, and Covet are all getting changes that we know of and haven't properly seen. I would really be surprised to see anything other than a twin charged or VTEC system for the reasons listed here. I can't see anything other than an i4 in the Covet, those are just the engines you find in these sorts of cars. Hopefully we will see some body styles for these cars like the D-Series/Roamer got, a CRX Covet would be awesome.
What do you mean its more logical? Than a rotatory? VRs have never been used in any car outside VAG products, so its extremely unlikely unless the devs are about to jump and flip upside down car history. And while i understand that they dont follow history and real life all that close, it still wouldnt make any sense.
Ok, I see what you mean. It's just that I'd expect them to put a Rotary in the 200BX more than the Covet.
I am about 75% sure update will be delayed for a few weeks and will drop in the last third of december, but we will get the wendover as opposed to your speculations that update will drop earlier but without wendover. Devs probably want to consistently release a new vehicle every second update so they might delay this one because bendover is certainly not finished yet. Covet revamp is coming in 0.22 for sure as the D series superpig did not get released in 0.20 but was teased before the update.
On the other hand, while i agree that this update will be dropping probably by the end of the year, i dont think the Wendover is even close to being ready.
