Experimental KissMP - new multiplayer mod for BeamNG.drive

something else - how do i use kissmp - server?

 

I've gotten it to work only 2 times now.. weird. The only way to get the ui to come up is by loading into freeroam and then backing out to the main menu. Which then when I refresh the list, it says the server list is empty.

 

At the moment our master server is down so the server list won't show up
Unfortunately the admin (HellBox) went to sleep shortly beforehand so it'll be a few hours at least :/

Also, just so you know.
KissMP server is only if you wish to create an actual server, you don't have to do it if you want to join someone else server.

 

Can you make something to not affecting the player's sync then in Free cam mode (then others changed config)?

 

Woo, a return to sanity from the retardedness that is BeamMP! Definitely going to try this when 0.21 is fixed.

EDIT: Tried it. While it seems to run way better than BeamMP and the fact I don't need to use Shitcord, no mods is a massive downside. Are there plans for enabling mod support? @The HellBox

EDIT 2: Oh wow, you can even reconnect to a different server without the mod crashing.

 

You can use mods if you host your own server. The mods are placed on the server then sent to clients joining.

 

I gathered, but having to ask every server owner to install my Covet 4WD mod is not something i'm willing to do.

 

Other than that, if mods were allowed on public servers, people wouldn't see others vehicles, would have silent vehicles, vehicles with empty engines/drivetrains, etc.

 

You should make your own server then.

The update seems to have broken Kissmp, at least on the two updated maps-wcusa and jungle rock island. As the video shows, all the other cars movements are really jerky, like it updates once per second. It's not my computer, bc my computer can run beamng completely fine. SRY about the music in background.

What`s the newest version of KissMP? Is there is a version for 0.21.1.0?
