I can't hear the new brake sounds.

I tried verifying the cache using both the BeamNG Drive tab and Steam. I've also tried reinstalling the game also using Steam, but I still can't hear the new braking sounds. Any help?

 

Which brakes exactly are you using? Stock and sports brakes make almost no sound at all unless they are overheating, and race brakes aren't very loud either unless they are heated up and under heavy use.

 

I mean that's genuinely the problem though. There isn't a single car that actually squeals when it brakes, at least normally. I thought that no matter what vehicle you would brake in, it would always make the squeal sound. I've seen it in videos.
