Game won't Install/play

bought and downloaded but just won't work, played the demo fine installed easy but this just seems impossible.
I have windows 8.1.

 

MY car doesnt work. How can I fix it?

Oh, you just have to do something to fix it. That's all I can say for now, since you aren't being specific.

 

So I go to download and save it, then extract and install, entererd code and it's installing now. Then it downloads update and says Completing the BeamNG.Drive setup. launch now is checked but when I click finish nothing happens. Downloaded and tried many times.

 

So nobody knows then? well that was a waste of money.

 

How about trying to search for BeamNG.drive.exe, or just BeamNG, in your start menu/metro UI? One of the first result should be "BeamNG.drive.exe" as a file. Run it. If you can't find it, Try checking the default install directory which should be "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local" (Note AppData is a hidden folder. You won't be able to find it unless you are set to be able to view hidden folders, or just copy/paste that address into exporer.exe's address bar). Last, try installing one more time with all antiviruses and firewalls temporarily disabled (Obviously don't browse the Internet during this time, and re-enable after the download).

The reason nobody is helping is because this similar problem has been posted at least a dozen times over the past few days, and it stems from either people not understanding how to use Windows' search function/not paying attention to where you installed the game, or an antivirus incorrectly blocking the install. Many of the community members are getting tired of giving the same answer over and over again, and the official support team is no more than ten strong including the developers.

Nope, this shit aint happening, well it was nice playing the free demo at least.

 

did you disable antivirus when installing/launching?(that can cause problems)

 

will I have to turn off antivirus ever time im launching

 

Probably only to install it the first time, but in the future if it complains about a corrupted file when you try to launch it, thank your antivirus.
