Why? I'm just reactivating them as I use them. It's just an inconvenience having to keep checking the Roamer and D-Series each time so was wondering if anyone had already figured it out. :)

In ETK I-series rear view mirror is pointing directly back rather than at the driver.

Car is straight under the ramp.

I think this has been a problem since the Legran was released. I always use the 3-speed instead, what grandma needs a 4-speed?

    1. in all vehicles, when you flip or rollover the car, the camera keep swinging and the and physics could be real life
    2. could have like that, when you drag a vehicle in wall or in floor it gets scratched and when you sets fire or explodes it gets burnt and on fire

Status update on this post: I just dicovered that all manual variants of the K-Series have their DRLs turned on/off along with the engine! If you notice the thumbnails of each car, you'll see that the headlights of the manual variants are slightly darker than the ones of the automatic versions. That's because the former have their DRLs turned off and the latter have them turned on!
And this is also true for all manual versions of the ETK 800 and the Cherrier FCVs (both the Vivace and the Tograc, although only the Arsenic-grille-DRLs turn on/off in the Vivace - not the small DRLs at the bottom of the Sport Front Bumper of the 190sd/230S versions and also not the boomerang main DRLs doubling as flashers on all versions, both manuals and DCTs)!

Speaking of the modern ETKs, am I the only one who thinks that the Ibishu Inline-4 sound doesn't suit the 854t/Kc4t petrol models at all? The sound is too rattly for these cars and they are too new and refined to sound like old 60s/70s/80s/90s Ibishus. Not only that but the V-TEC-like sound of the front end emitter at high revs is also not suited to them since modern German cars don't sound like that at all. I think that the muffled 1.6/2.0 petrol 4-cylinder sound of the FCV cars is much more suited to the modern ETKs, it is much more refined a sound.
Even the Hirochi Sunburst, a car from 2009, sounds like it's much older than it actually is with that sound. The V-TEC-like sound of the front end emitter at high revs is perfectly suited to the car but that low-to-mid-range acceleration rattle of the exhaust of the Sport-RS-and-up fast Sunburst versions (sounding like breaking porcelain plates, in my ears' humble opinion) is more suited to a 60s Miramar than a 2009 car! Out of place in a car from 2009 and with such a fat exhaust tip - even the Sunburst Rally doesn't sound like a rally car should! I expected a sound with far more base in such stages of power, more like the 4G63 of the Lancer Evos and even the 4B11 of the last-of-the-breed Evo X!
And for closing this up, an AWD version of the 856td/Kc6d models (called the 856tdx/Kc6dx, respectively) could very well be included in the in-game variants because 580Nm of torque can truly make these models versatile!

Merry Christmas and have a nice Boxing Day everyone! :-D

I think a feature may have slipped through the cracks in 0.21, or at least I assume it's accidental because I don't remember it being mentioned in the devblog or anywhere else at all and also it doesn't seem like it was 100% finished. Basically when you turn off the Sunburst, SBR4, FCV, Or either of the modern ETKs, the electrics turn off as well except the satnav (and electric gauge in the case of the FCV). I tested it in Safe Mode just to be sure it's not a fluke or a mod I forgot I had, and sure enough it isn't:

ETK K (DRLs only, its gauges don't actually light up in the first place, which I was surprised to find)
    upload_2020-12-29_0-44-51.png upload_2020-12-29_0-45-14.png

Sunburst (gauges only since it doesn't have DRLs)
    upload_2020-12-29_0-47-9.png upload_2020-12-29_0-47-19.png

    SBR4 (DRLs + Gauges)
    upload_2020-12-29_0-49-26.png upload_2020-12-29_0-49-36.png upload_2020-12-29_0-49-54.png upload_2020-12-29_0-50-3.png

FCV (DRLs only, as I said, it doesn't effect satnav or digital gauges I'm assuming cause they run on the same lua/code or whatever and oddly the main DRLs don't shut off, hence why I used the Vivace Arsenic)
    upload_2020-12-29_0-54-21.png upload_2020-12-29_0-55-38.png

Note: This only happens with manuals, not even DCTs

I held off showing this cause I actually kinda want it to stay :p but I figured the devs should know if they don't already.

also I am completely aware that they probably won't see this for another day or so but there isn't a legit/trustful way to draft posts so

    Funnily enough, no :D
This is not an intended feature... Interesting nonetheless, will have to investigate what's going on there after holidays, I have an idea, but need to confirm that.

I found a problem on the "Performance Timer". If you play game on slow mo performance timers counts in real life for a example im playing game 8x slower than real life but it counts in real life.
Also can you guys add a 1/4 mile timer?

So the gauges of the Hirochi cars do turn off! I didn't know that, I only knew they stay permanently on even when the lights aren't on, which is weird since backlit analogue gauges don't behave like this IRL!
Also, apart from the Arsenic DRLs, the small semi-triangular DRLs in the Sport Front Bumper of the 190Sd/230S versions also don't turn off (but then again, these cars have a DCT box, not a manual one)!

On a lot of japanese cars from this era the gauges are illuminated when the lights are off and dim when the lights are on (in order to not blind the driver).

One small thing I also found is if we press several times ignition it can be "bugged" and lights will stay on when engine is off. Also if this happen it sometimes need press ignition twice to turn on the engine.

I am also looking forward to this informative blogpost :)

And if it isnt to much to ask.... could you also go into the details of the new
    • Active Locking Differential
    and
    • Torque Vectoring Differential?
I am sure I am not the only one who is unsure about their operation/benefits.

@Leeloo - you might wish to edit your signature... it still links to the 0.20 update ;)

Enjoy your holiday devs, you deserve it. :)
