They looked very bland. I did your directions, and it barely changed anything, am I missing something or what?
I might need to make that installation vid The files from the zip should all be in your Documents\Beamng.drive folder so that that folder contains new folders called Art, Core, Levels, Shaders and also the postfx preset file. If done that way then you can just delete the cache folder called "cache.0.21.2.0" and it should load my stuff next time you start BeamNG. In Beamng, make sure all the postfx stiff is checked in the Options - Graphics menu and then hit the PostFx button and Load Preset, find my preset file andf load it. Should be done now Ive deliberately choosen to keep the bright down midday cause ive been getting a ton of complaints about it so the changes should be most visible earleir/later in the day. Not sure it looks like it should, change Time Of Day and see if it gets different. Also make sure youve enabled all postfx stuff and reloaded the post fx preset. To be sure, check my comment above this quote to make sure its installed correctly
Good you found it, will be releasing another one soon, wiht better night transition and also more (slightly tbh) filmic colors/exposure during day --- Post updated --- You like it? Anything yould like to see more of/less of and so on? As i mentioned to MackMin im working on a new one but still open for changes
Well, for sure i want shadow draw distance and render distance, as for lighting, well, i tried to mess it on my own, but instruments are meh, maybe somewhere in the future you will release some atmospheric pack, like for driving in foggy weather
AL10 Filmic released -alittle more filmic (obv) than AL9 Install: 1. ALTERNATIVE 1 - Open the Beamng launcher, hit Support Tools, Clear your cache. Dont start Beamng. ALTERNATIVE 2 (i do this) - Go to your Documents/Beamng.drive-folder and delete the latest cache-folder, at the moment its called "cache.0.21.2.0". That way you wont loose as much stuff as compared to the Clear Cache-option. 2. Unzip the folders and the postfxpreset-file from the AL10FILMIC.zip into your Documents/Beamng.drive-folder so that you get the folders called Art, Levels, Shaders and the AL10FILMIC.postfxpreset-file into your Documents/Beamng.drive-folder like this: 3. Open Beamng, click Options from the main menu. Make sure you have advanced menus activated to see the POST FX button. 4. Scroll down so that you see the POSTFX button. Click it. Click 'Load Preset...' and look up the file that was in theAL10FILMIC.zip. should look like this: 'This PC\Documents\BeamNG.drive\AL10FILMIC.postfxpreset' , that way you also know youve extracted the folders and file correctly. * Make sure you activated all the PostFx stuff including light rays, its check boxes are above the POST FX button. Done! Changelog from AL9 to AL10FILMIC: Colors throughout TOD incl night BUT night transition isnt perfect yet More stuff which i cant remember AL10Filmic, WCUSA, D-Series, Evening should look like this:
Looks great, especially when paired with Reshade! (first pic with the Vivace in WCUSA is using AL10, rest are AL9 btw)
Glad u like it! Looks like you dont have bloom and light rays on? I think its why your screenshots look abit dark
Hi can I ask does this make the game laggy as my game is only a tiny bit just wondering incase I download and its laggy --- Post updated --- btw loving the look of the mod!
These should all be checked Thank you! It reduces fps slightly nowadays, only around 2-5 id say Playing around with controlling the tonemapper and exposure in a different way:
