I've been working on some new parts for the D-Series Pickup, I will probably continue to add more, this is what I have so far. D-Series Parts Pack: Gasoline fuel cell (red) Diesel fuel cell (yellow) Propane dual tanks Bobbed frame (short frame with standard wheelbase for reg. cab body) Crawler roll cage (works with short, standard and bobbed frames) Rocksliders for short frame Bed mount spare tire (33, 35 and 37 inch tire) Roof rack (for off road lights) Crawler Zeta bumper (better departure angle, for fleet and stepside beds)
Looks amazing!! Teach me how you did the textures on those two smaller tanks tho! They look amazing and I’m trynna learn!
--- Post updated --- No plans for exo cage, the crawler cage its kinda both, the B pillar is outside the cab. --- Post updated --- Thanks Dude, I use Substance Painter, you can get it on Steam. its not like photoshop, you import the 3D model.
Yeah that program is very deep, it's not easy but when you get the hang of it it's awesome, I've been using it for a few years and have created a lot of smart materials, once you get to that point it's easy, like I have made smart materials for frame, metal, tires and so on and I can apply those materials to anything, that's why all my tires have that same dirty texture. --- Post updated --- Not sure how to do that, this game is hard to figure out.
If your doing a bobbed chassis any chance of moving the front axle forward abit aswell so got good approach aswell as departure angles
Have you thought about a tubular front bumper? Maybe with the stinger as an option.. idk if Im the only one but I dont think a stinger belongs on every build lol
The front axle can be moved forward with the 3 link front suspension, anymore forward would require major trimming to the front clip. --- Post updated --- Good idea, I will work on adding one to the pack.
That has crossed my mind but that would have to be a separate mod, I can model it but to get it to work proper in game would be a challenge for me.
substance painter? I bought it off their website and seriously it’s so confusing. I can’t figure out how anything works even with tutorials. What did you use to learn?
I had a tight group of friends that helped each other figure out different programs, but sub paint is worth the work if you are a heavy modder like we were. I've got hundreds of hours in sub paint, creating smart materials. Sub paint is all about layers, some of my materials have 20 plus layers. Watch videos on how to create smart materials and that will help you understand how it works.
hell yea brother!!!.... look now i can basically recreate your old k10 crawler and beat the pis outta it....
Any plans for a plate style winch bullbar? or guard chops to fit bigger tires without clipping? I used to have a nice working winch setup back in RoR days, need to see if i can get it to work in Beam.
