The problem however is: the bolide has a very non italian look. Imo it reminds me more of a crappy Pontiac fiero kit car than a real Italian 80s sports car.
Italian to me. Looks like it was styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro. Imo it looks good (for the 80s and for today) for its time period, sounds amazing, and its fast.
well, to be really honest it really does not at all, it feels like some gm executive told people to glue some cutting boards together.
yea thats why i hope the devs would do that because that industrial trailer glimpse really felt underwhelming.
Ye, i can agree with that. I think its just because the model itself is outdated and also because there's something wrong with the proportions. Shotty did an edit of Bolide which to me looks a lot more pleasing. Something to do with its front end being to low to comply with safety regulations as far as I remember.
I don't think they will change or remove the original looks/parts. By that I mean they will add new parts, but will keep original looking parts too, so you can still drive a bolide that looks like the original. They didn't do it with any of the other original cars. All they did was add stuff. You can still have a d-series looking like the one from 0.3, a gm looking like one from 0.3, and so on. Add different looking parts, they probably will. But won't remove or change the original.
Back when they were changing proportions some cars got big changes. The SBR went from looking like a toy to an actual car, and a lot of them got changes big enough to break mods. As for specific parts, they did completely remove the old garage built not street legal flatbed for the D-Series, along with the fuel tank for it
The D35 Pig config's flatbed + fuel tank, which was in game for a very long time, was removed. The Pig now uses a street legal flatbed with the sides taken off and the factory fuel tank. So that's an example of a very old part removed without a replacement that looks the same.
No, it's not. The original flatbed did not cover the rear wheels, so it wasn't street legal This one is a competely different flatbed. New texture, covers the rear wheels, has options for sides/fenders, etc...
It's not the same flatbed, it's the street legal one, that one wasn't really a flatbed but just a bunch of wood planks taped to the frame with offroad stuff slapped on it lol And they do remove parts, they removed all the beater parts for Covet for no reason And for the originals, I don't think many people noticed but the entire D-Series has been COMPLETELY remodeled and retextured recently, the interior is like almost completely new and the exterior was changed a lot, some skins from old mods no longer line up well
Remodeling and retexturing they do with the originals as that is very important. But they wont for example replace the original 2nd gen d series parts with a different generation one that looks completely different, they would add a different generation as they did. They try and keep the iconic ones that we remember the same. They also tend to do it with only one config instead of all of them. If you dont understand what I mean, I mean that they didn't remove the original d15 4wd v8 config, and kept it looking mostly the same. What I am suggesting with the bolide is that they will most likely keep the 350gt config looking like it does now. But with the others, they may change them to look better and different.
