That's normal. Your GPU should not be at 100% all of the time anyways. How is the performance, otherwise?

Thats not how it works, closest you can get to more fps is overclocking but I dont reccomend that.

I don't think that overclock will up gpu loading (sry for my english)

GPU load should not be your main concern. Actual performance should be. 70%+ is making good use of the card as is anyways. Adding another car may or may not increase GPU load a little, also.

GPU is not the bottleneck, probably CPU. My 1070 doesn't go past 70 either.

Imagine having a 3090 and you are concerned that it isn't being used a 100%.. bruh..

The 1070 has what 4gb? Or 6? I'm not sure..

I've got a gt710 2gb, overclocked to 1.3ghz core clock and 3ghz mem clock, usage is around 80-90% ignoring my single core cpu bottleneck... At normal-high graphics. This game is pretty good for utilising GPU and cpu.
If you want the GPU to be pegged at a 100%, buy a weaker one with preferably less than 1 gig lol.. ;)

Anyway, 100%Gpu usage isnt the greatest thing, as it will increase the GPU temp by a lot. My gt710 reaches around 80°C (30°C ambient, south indian wierd climate).

Set high performance in nvidia control panel, see if it helps.

1070 is 8 GB and you want your card to ideally sit around 90 to 100% especially if You want to squeeze as much fps as possible.

My processor is i5-9400f and I don'r think it's a bottleneck (also game is on ssd and 16gb of 2933 ram)
Videocard's getting around 60 degrees (it's real monster lol)

60C is not overheating. I'd be concerned if it got to 80 or above, but 60 is fine.

If Your CPU is nearing 100% usage it's bottlenecking in this particular game. Remember this game does some heavy calculations.

I know, it was nvidia ultra-low input lag

This doesn't work, i made a thread about it earlier.
If i set power setting to high performance it's reverted back to adaptive when the game is launched.

Why is it an issue? I mean, If it isn't 100% it's because the card isn't struggling, 100% doesn't mean full performance it just means that the card is using it's full capability and pushing it beyond can make ur GPU struggle, Your Gpu will always be on full performance when used, but that doesn't mean it will perform better with 100% usage, but if you want that just open another game along with beamng

also, if it's 70% it's because beamng is already getting the required performance from your gpu, this can be caused by V Sync/ G sync/ whatever Sync you are using, disable it if you have it on. I use V sync to lock my fps to 75 (my monitor Hertz) and i can spawn over 4 cars and the fps will stay at 75 at medium settings (Gtx 1060 6gb) but if i unlock Vsync my Gpu usage will be higher and my fps will be like 100 - 130. Also don't worry about ur Temps, my GPU is a Blower style from zotac and it can reach easily 85C and it's safe since blowers are made to run at these temperatures, it would be dangerous if it was above 90C

Honestly I have no idea what You're trying to say, can You define the difference between performance and capability please.

That's like saying it's perfectly safe to drive 85 mph but if you drive 90 or more it's suddenly dangerous. Especially considering that most GPU's thermal limit is 92-95 degrees so anything above 83 (by default) is already thermally throttling.

So by running your card at 85 your performance could be worse than at 75.

1- i did the big dumb, what i was trying to say is that playing at 100% won't change ur fps, actually it can be the limiting factor of ur gpu

2- ur comparison is very bad, speed/speed limit it's not comparable at all, try to use ur example to this temperature situation: Water evaporates at 100C nothing less, but your would be saying something like "That's like saying it's perfectly safe to drive 85 mph but if you drive at 90 or more it's suddenly dangerous", same thing with hardware, at some point it will start to get dangerous and it IS more dangerous if you use it at 90 degrees since it's the card's thermal limit and it would start to damage it, 85C is within the acceptable range and it is safe, it's not good, but it isn't damaging my card. Also my card is just like i said is a blower style and it is made to run at higher temperatures.

So, I don't have problems with temperatures (something around 60 degrees with full load (I've Zotac AMP! EXTREME which has 250w TDP, which can be increased up to 300 lol)).
And how I said earlier I've 165hz monitor and I want max fps from my pc.
Also videocard is loading for 100% on all maps, but not on Italy (gridmap too can use my videocard for 100%)

    1. Is utterly false.
    2. Example signifies that 85 is NOT within an acceptable range because the difference between 85 and 90 is practically none.
