Ok, I meant the Nvidia cards on high. I'll explain it again. When PhysX runs on a AMD card, it uses the CPU. Like you said. But the Nvidia equivalent of that is the "low" setting on PhysX supported cards. The "high" setting is only for cards with Physx, and its the one that drops frame rates, but because it enhances the visuals by a lot.
I agree that Intel's top processors are faster, stronger, and better than anything AMD can make. However. I think per dollar AMD wins. When you compare an AMD with integrated graphics and an Intel that both cost $150 on Newegg, the AMD has twice as many cores with a faster clock. AMD just put out a new series of APUs, so they are updating as well as intel. I think the new Richlands are supposed to be a lot better than the outgoing Trinity series. Later this year, they are going to release another update based on a better architechture
That intel is faster than the AMD for most things like gaming, etc etc with lower clocks and 2 less cores.
And that processor is an ivy bridge, over a year old now. Compared to a fresh, new AMD cpu. You should be comparing it to the Intel Haswell...
Both of you fanboys just shush, ok? If you have a budget, it's price related, if you need performance, it's a performance metric. Mods/devs lock please.
