I mean, it could just be an interceptor. It wouldn't have to transport the criminals, just stop them for the bigger cars to take over after they give up.
interceptor 2 seater cars (like today's police mustangs and camaros) cars weren't a thing back then, as the fugitives often drove lumbering sedans, why would the police need a fast unpractical car when 383 plazas or 56 fairlane could catch criminals just as well
a little late, but dang love old ford models, especially the thunderbird and mustang (hence my account name lol)
I understand what you guys are getting at, but I think that most people would like to see a police model of the t bird, even though it goes against logic and realism.
maybe a patina/barn find/rusty skin? and possibly a few restomod options? this cobra inspired one is awesome --- Post updated --- zolland design kit?
The Plaza stopped being a model after 1957, the B block (not the the more common RB block that we all know and love) 383 only came abouts in 1960, with probably its best application was in the '60 Plymouth Fury when equipped with its "cross ram" induction set up, a tuning nightmare for even the best out there but it was definitely more a race engine. In fact i believe car that came with that engine were void of warranty and would only be sold to special clients, however there was slightly detuned engine for better low end torque and response was available yet it was still a very hard engine to live with
I will have a police variant! There will be barn find skins, and restomod options! But zolland may be too difficult. Also I'm sorry for not replying to any comments yesterday, was dealing with mental health. However, I did start work on the hubcaps!
