Petition to make an official content thread for the Wendover

I'ts all in the title, let's try to convince the devs to make an official Soliad Wendover thread!



Else we can, uh, idk, talk about it here..

(Also can the Roamer have one too? Because come on..)

 

I'm pretty sure there used to be an official thread about the Wendover, but I think it got deleted.

IIRC there was a bug (related to changing the host?) that messed up a lot of older threads. IIRC both the Moonhawk and Wendover threads got nuked for it

And when the Pigeon to T-Series (excluding the Covet) all shared a smooth, modern petrol V8 sound.

 

That was a placeholder engine sound from Rigs of Rods. Before the 4.2.0 update, the Covet also sounded like the other cars. Then, they changed it to a lawnmower, then a sound effect from sonory.org in 0.10, and then something that was closer to an Automation engine sound in 0.16.

the RoR sound is still in the files, it gets used for older mods

 

The RoR V8 sound isn't the sound were talking about.
We're talking about the old covet lawnmower sound.

 

It's also applied automatically to an engine by default if no sound was defined before
