Okay, If we were in school, I would give this mod a solid C+. Its good enough, needs more configs, maybe new steering wheel and fix a bug which causes front hubcaps to flew away from wheels. If that will be added, then grade will change for B, or B+, same goes to this review.
exactly "Not to be a snob" continues to sound exactly like a snob Seriously though, this isn't how you do constructive criticism. IIRC he has said that he has never done anything of this caliber before, hence why it took a while, and why there isn't stuff like a cUsToM InTErIor. He's fully aware that it's not polished or finished, no need to rub that in his face. This isn't even the final release but it looks like you're judging it as if it is.
A few things I want to point out. 1. I had no less than 3 people offer to help on the Jbeam. All 3 ghosted me after I made promises to release. 2. I did not want to be known as a person that teases and does not release. It irritates me to no end when a good effort is done on a mod but it fails to release because of small errors. (however this is well within the authors rights) 3. Yes, it is little more than a LeGran with a different body, but I never misrepresented it as anything it wasn't. The gatekeeping in this community is ridiculous. It's toxic and stifles creativity. Anyone who has done any small edits know what I am talking about. Creating a full 100% unique mod can run into 100's of hours of work. And even people who have done that still get mocked for bugs. Is it any wonder we keep seeing people burn out and not finish projects? I have released this as completely free to edit and rerelease. So if you can make the Satyr better, be my guest. I am going to continue to look for help on my future projects. Thank you and good night.
I'm sorry people are like that, but I value that you tried at all. What's the worst is that the gatekeepers aren't even good modders. The good modders (despite flakiness in helping) are mostly good, it's just those who can't handle that "THE MOD ISN"T PERFECT!!!". Someone should remind them that most mod makers are not paid, and as such, cannot devote their entire time to it. With the exception of @bob.blunderton (whose devotion is exceptional), I can't think of any modders that spend all of their time on their mods. Thank you again for your work.
I hate people who rate a mod 1 or 2 stars for dumb reasons. Rear wheels stick out a bit too much? UNACCEPTABLE I'M TAKING 1 STAR AWAY! Car doesn't have hundreds of configs like the Gavril Vertex? NOT ENOUGH VARIETY YOU MUST ADD MORE STUFF 2/10! Interior is based on another car like in most mods? WORST MOD EVER 1 STAR!!!!!!! Seriously people who say stuff like this need to be banned from the forums, they expect everything to be dev quality which only a few mods have ever achieved. They are also biased as heck, the DeLorean mod has WAY more issues than this and not much bigger amount of content so far but they praise it just because it's a DeLorean, even if it was a Bolide meshslap they would praise it anyway. (Not saying that's a bad mod, it's a really good one, but this one is not a bad mod either.) And most people who say this have 0 mods or just config mods or Automation ones and they have no idea how hard it is to make a scratch made mod like this one, they think it's like half an hour of modeling and then 5 minutes of other stuff and done. IT TAKES SEVERAL MONTHS TO MAKE A 3D MODEL AND EVEN MORE TO MAKE ALL THE JBEAM AND STUFF. The worst thing is that they call it a meshslap, HAVE THEY EVEN SEEN A MESHSLAP IN THEIR LIFE, this had so much work put into its 3D model and there were real attempts at Jbeam while meshslaps are just stolen GTA 5 models slapped into unchanged official car Jbeam. And they treat WIP beta mods the same way as fully finished ones, and they have ridiculously high expectations from something that is someone's first scratch made mod... I could go about this for hours, you know what I mean, people who can't appreciate effort should be straight up banned for demotivating everyone all the time, starting drama and making the forums toxic.
Yeah, I support your statement because I have to redo my model for my first car mod here and it took a lot of time. Plus I have little to no motivation to finish it because of my mental health and such.
This is a generally good mod, and I honestly feel that although it could use some polishing, it definitely has potential.
Ignore the haters, especially the young ones who don't remember the real K-cars. My dad owned a 1982 LeBaron, then a 1985 New Yorker. I learned to drive on that car. Fun fact: Both of them were little more than a K-car with a different body. So your Satyr is not only lore-friendly; it's historically accurate!
I am really enjoying this mod. It's WIP but i think this is good for a start since i can't make even a square in Blender. Keep it up no rush!
Please Take Thumbnails in Showroom with Showroom Tools Window Please Fix The Popping out Front Hubcaps in V6 Configs
Don't be Angry, it's just A Simple Report and Another thing I need to say in this message is that: if he like to work for Satyr, why he don't taked any thumbnails because it's very easy to take thumbnail in showroom
First of all, he's not angry, and second, you call it a simple report when the author already knows all of the bugs with it.
If you could READ you would know that the author definitely knows the bugs and is sick of people like you reporting them all over again and calling the mod bad
