the comments there aren't a massive improvement on the comments on the Youtube video. All these armchair physicists who are experts on cars rolling down cliffs. I swear I'm going to break the neck of the next person who informs us that some specific part should have come off in a scenario with too many variables to be predictable.

The front tires appear to be held on by super string and ductape. Completely unrealistic. In the real world the knuckles/springs would've snapped with that much force. The lateral friction against the hydraulic angle would cause an unprecedented amount of twerking, which would in the end cause the tires to explode into confetti.

    I'm completely outraged by this.

the comments are pretty hilariously retarded.

"What exactly is supposed to be so impressive here? I didn't see anything that looked any better than a crash in one of the Burnout games. At least in those games the cars aren't coated in Teflon"

    "
What a number of other folks have said: friction. That, and that hill didn't seem steep enough to achieve the sort of velocity those cars possessed. It was fun to watch, though."

    "'
This is as realistic as it would look in real life.'No, there is a force in real life called "friction," which is entirely missing from this simulation."

You should put huge annotations all over the video repeating what you said in the description.

Interesting statement, sir. How ever, I'm forced to decline the invitation for an arranged relationship between my neck and you're machine. In my religion it is a crime to arrange such activities and it's a crime of religion to participate in a relationship of another species. I'd like to respectfully ask you to please refrain from making such offer in the future. I send my deepest condolences and I hope that your machine will find it's true match in the future.

    Sincerely,
    Prince Shlamagklingon

This is why I hate releasing videos. "My observational skills are too poor to see how steep the hill is, therefore the physics are wrong"

Guys there is not enough friction, I should know because I threw numerous cars down a 60` mountain in middle school and have a degree in observational physics, which everybody knows physics is based purely off how things look, calculations and mathematical equations obviously don't come into it.

In all seriousness sorry for posting it to reddit so that uninformed experts kept saying that it "looked wrong"
It happens with every video you guys release too, that being said Kotaku is a terrible website in all regards, so the amount of idiots there is obviously higher...

gabester, pls. no, do not pay attention to these idiots. Just block them out of your thoughts.
And remember what each of us told you about the video "Amazing", "Awesome", "Love the progress", "Like how it deforms so realistically".

@Nadeox1: Yeah, I just noticed that over there, Roman finally got owned! Sad thing is, he will still keep calling ...

I just wish Kate would still be 'dateable' after Roman got killed.
oh, & don't worry, he will call you thru the grave! Either that or by entering another person's body, most likely Brucie.

Seriously, people who insist that burnout has better crash physics are retarded.
Even in bad crashes the burnout cars are ridiculously tough...

    Just show them this:

I don't get the comments about friction. Are they seriously expecting it to slow down a ~2 ton car tumbling down a 60+degree gradient?

5.png Where did you find that? But yes, post it devs! I'd also say it's about a 75 angel.

This also got featured on PCGamer. The same stuff in the comments as on kotaku. Personally I think the friction is ok. Reminded me of the part in The Italian Job where they push the minis out the back of the bus onto cliffs, those pick up quite some speed on cliffs that are not quite as steep. Maybe to help stop people questioning the physics and stuff you should make videos that show the same sort of crash multiple times with slight differences to show that it isn't all prerendered, maybe showing the driving up to the crash to show interactivity.
