Hi all, I downloaded the mod from here: https://www.beamng.com/threads/mazda-rx-7-iii-updated.57461/ However, when I place this in the required folder, my game crashes. It does say "Outdated" in the above thread. Is there an up to date version of the RX-7 that's compatible with the latest update? Thanks
Normal front seats will crash it too. You have to spawn a config that has no rear seats, and sport/race front seats. Here's a previous thread about this same issue: https://www.beamng.com/threads/about-this-mazda-rx-7.74069/ The creator of that thread showed which configs work, which is nice. Also, I've gone and fixed the RX-7 mod a long time ago so that it no longer crashes that game (basically removed rear seats and standard front seats from all of the configs), but I'm not sure if I can upload that, plus the original maker of the mod hasn't been online in a long time so I can't exactly check if it's cool with them.
I think you problem is that it is outdated. There is another rx7 mod but its not on the official beamng.drive website.
Can you send the file of the rx7? Or just tell me the file name of the rear seats cuz, i cant seem to find em'.
Just open up all of the .pc files (which are the config files), replace any entries that say “rear seats: rear seats” with “rear seats: none” (that’s not the exact formatting, but I don’t have my computer with me rn). Do the same with the front seats, replacing any time it says “front seats: front seats” with something like “front seats: sport front seats”. Take a look at the configs that do work to see the actual formatting for the .pc files
also happened to me when i first downloaded it then i needed to add a ssd to my computer and it cleared all my mods i installed it agein one day and it worked just fine idk if it was a mod update i mean this thread is 2 months old so posibly
