While that Burnside certainly is pretty, the fact that it's in community screenshots opposed to development media means it's just a personal project. No need to start 3 pages of hype spam over it....
Not actually the first time we've seen it, there was a pic of it along with the convertible Bluebuck mod and some mopar-esque Bluebuck in that imgur photo dump that everyone here was talking about on December 14th.
Yeah, it's a bad idea to post private mods screenshots tho because at this point you're begging for people to ask: -WhEn ArE yOu GoNnA rElEaSe It??? -CaN i BeTa TeSt??? -pLs SeNd Me A lInK!!!
I agree that private mods shouldn't be publicly posted, but I still think there's a good possibility of it being released due to the accuracy shown in the video, which itself took a bit of effort to create, so let's continue to hope!
Even if it was official (which it isn't) its an odd choice of design since its said according to the wiki that Burnside started in '53 but the model that Car_Killer made looks to me like either a 1948 or 1949 coupe, so in a way predating Burnside by a few years. I can't see it as a 54 or 55 since by then the cars had done away with the split windshield and overall 40s look and started with the futuristic rocket looking land yachts that we all know and love, but hey maybe burnside decided to be one of those holdouts to save money. it's up to Car_Killer weather that's the case or not.
Closest I could find was a 1950 Pontiac Streamliner. Pretty much like what @Car_Killer is making. I like to imagine the Burnside is actually more of a late 40's design that was heavily updated for the early 50's. https://www.oldcarsweekly.com/features/reader-wheels-1950-pontiac-streamliner
To end this all, its a 1948 Burnside, its dated as such because burnside was not launched the same year as the Burnside Special's release, the reason some wikis might say it is because the only official car we have from Burnside rn is the Special, which was launched in '53. Assuming that is as dumb as saying Gavril was founded in 1962 because the Bluebuck was lauched in '62. Thirdly, stop stalking the dude, he is a Staff member but he is still a modder and a community member, 99% of what he posts is user content, not dev.
Since this thread has completely lost its mind again, time to get things back on topic. -The Wendover is obviously coming next update. Given how much it supposedly shares with the LeGran, it's safe to assume that the LeGran content will come alongside it. - There's at least something coming for the Bolide remaster wise, being teased last summer. I know there's rumors of an 80's themed update, and I wouldn't be surprised if that turns out to be true. There's also the WIP H-Series remaster, which might come this update, but the vehicle team may be more focused on the aforementioned vehicles. - In terms of levels, a Gridmap remaster is in the concept stage at this point. I doubt it would be ready within the next two months (going off of the usual update schedule). There does tend to be a level remaster every update though, so it might be Gridmap, but ETK's also a good candidate. - It's been over two years since the last new map (Italy), and I doubt that there isn't at least something in the works in regards to new levels behind the scenes. Hopefully we hear about something soon, as although the remasters are nice, we really do need a new map. - A walking camera is all but confirmed at this point going off of dev posts and unused localization strings. I don't think it's really intended for free roam (although it would probably be added there anyways), but rather for the Garage Mode. When racing games have an on foot camera, it's usually for a garage/showcase mode, and given Garage Mode's removal for much needed work, it's easy to put two and two together.
