Having bought one myself recently, I'm very glad there's official electric models in the game, and I have a few suggestions and things for the future to consider. (This is me doing my best to share some knowledge, I apologize if these things have already been considered/posted) - The current ingame EV sounds are much more akin to the synthesized 'pedestrian warning' sounds played by the speakers at the front of the newest EVs rather than the actual motor, which usually makes a sort of buzz and a shimmering sound at low speeds and some gear whine at high speeds (the hybrid ETK 800 mod in E mode is more accurate here). - Driving modes in EVs usually do a combination of changing your throttle map, limiting your power, and giving you more or less regen. Most also come with a 'one pedal' mode which gives maximum regen until you're stationary with no creep. These would be interesting to see in game. - EVs can actually catch fire or even burst into a fireball if the pack takes enough of a bash in a crash, this'd be great fun to see ingame. -You get them going in the exact same way as an ICE car. Key to 'on' to get your low voltage system (lights and accessories), then to 'start' to engage the high voltage system and get drive, at which point the DRLs turn on and a little green 'ready' is displayed on the dash. -Just like engines, the battery packs, invertors, and motors in EVs can become hot and start to struggle or fail, as a safety measure some EVs warn you and throttle your power after a certain temperature threshold. And just like ICE cars, the packs and drive units are often water-cooled, adding radiators and hoses to possibly be broken on impacts as a possibility for breaking them ingame.
not necessarily. depends from model to model. everything else though I totally agree with and should be implemented imo.
