Finally got around to properly organise the interior objects (there's 1000s of objects in the file, and just the blend is 400MB...) so I could finally make this render View attachment 772371 That's the lead designer of the Miraimar speaking, just so you know I "just" do the modelling. He finally made an account so he will be answering from now on
like my mate @Velstydez said, we are trying to integrate the tutone and the whitewalls to the design, but at the current stage is difficult to blend anything new with the design because everything in the car is designed to match, nevertheless we will consider the idea again and maybe in the future we will include something like the tutone/vinyl roof in a new finish. --- Post updated --- Thank you for the introduction, now we both are here to answer you all.
Don´t worry, nowadays there is a vast array of modern, high strength materials to choose from, so a thin A- pillar is possible. On the other hand, a cabriolet does not have actually a structural A-pillar, the reinforcement is on the floorpan as is in the Miraimar.
So you are the one who designed the car? Great job, it's amazing! It's really well modeled too of course but just coming up with such good desigm can't be easy, good job!
oh nvm i got the stupid disease then --- Post updated --- edit: i forgot what engines are there in this miraimar, is it also written above anywhere?
yes, it is receiving drivetrain components from the k-series, along with a v4 with freevalve technology
Yes, i´m the designer of the Miraimar. Thank you. To model this is not an easy job, but as you can see @Velstydez is up to my standards in modelling the car and he is doing a great job.
i don't think that fits in line with this, the modern version is positioned as an executive car/fleet sedan, and a hatchback wouldn't fit also since this is a retro reimagining of the original miramar, it makes sense to only have it available as a sedan good ideas but they don't fit here
Speaking of the different body styles, would a limo possibly be in the future? I feel it would fit with the high trim variant..but that's just me.
sounds slightly fitting, since there are suicide doors. It would probably be like one of those limo's for japan's officials.
Unfortunately there are not going to be more body styles aside from one "surprise" style we will reveal on the next version after the car is released. We are valuing the idea of doing a long wheel base version "ultra luxury" model, (with normal front doors and rear suicide doors), but no a limo.
Work is being done bit by bit, even though it may not show in these renders. There's a lot of organising, fixing and optimizing to do before beginning proper in game importing and texturing. But here's a couple of renders anyway And hopefully next time I will not forget to import the wipers from the previous version
