That's one hell of a career transition if it is

On the subject of a landspeed version, I don't think that really fits the Legran. It'd be fun but it's no late 90s/early 2000s Pontiac, how exactly would it go from being this grampamobile to going 200mph on the salt flats? Not to mention it's not very aerodynamic so it'd probably need some significant body changes. Honestly the Grand Marshall has a better chance at getting a landspeed version.

Since the Moonhawk thread has been banished to the shadow realm long ago I thought I should put down my suggestions for the remaster here.

An alternate model (Maybe Soliad) with Double horizontal square headlights and a different shaped grille for the prefacelift. Something similar to this Cutlass or Pontiac Lemans. also an alternate grille for the 1973-1975 model.

Landau top! It's meant to be a Malaise era personal luxury coupe after all.

Some sort of cheesy Pace car special.

Maybe some sort of T top body style.

i would agree that the moonhawk lacks most of the features that made cars of the era unique. i'd also like to add a massive v8 engine with low horsepower (see: olds 455) just for the lols

If it was up to me I would split the 1973-1978 Moonhawk into 2 cars.
    • Bruckell keeps the Moonhawk more or less as it is now, just expanded. Mainstream high volume malaise muscle car with lots of body-styles/trim levels. Coupe, Ute, Wagon, Sedan, optional T-Tops, a couple of rare high end performance trim levels (performance by contemporary standards at least), and so on. This would give us our second American wagon (counting the LeGran as the first), more options for police cars, and our first car based pickup truck. The Moonhawk and LeGran are both mainstream volume mid sized cars only separated by 6 years, but they really do not feel like it. They really should have some trim levels shared or something. But I've discussed the RWD LeGran cousin idea enough already.
    • Soliad gets a personal luxury coupe based on the platform. Dated styling (I'm thinking more Pontiac inspired just since it is so different than what we have now), big lazy V8, Landau top options, share a special edition trim name or two with the Wendover, etc...

Currently the Moonhawk has the option of a 4.0 i6 or a 6.2 V8. Compare that to contemporary midsized cars from the big three that often had 6-8 options... Of course 5 different sized V8's for a car in game isn't really reasonable, but we certainly need more options than we have now.
    • A fair number of contemporary GM A-Bodies offered both i6 and V6 options, and some contemporary midsized Chryslers offered a slant-6. I'd love to see more engine block types, so finding a way to work in a slant-6 would be cool. Maybe playing around with the facelift engine's could be an option there. This would give us a choice of engines for cheap/underpowered builds and fleet spec cars.
    • As for V8 options, I'd say introduce one small V8 (4.0-5.5L) and one lazy large V8 (7.0-7.5L) for luxury trims. This would give us a sensible small block and big block V8 option and one heavy and underpowered luxury trim option.
As for special editions, we need a Bruckell performance line like Gavril RS. Maybe a true performance car (by the standards of the era), a truly disappointing "performance" trim, and something inspired by the Aspen/Volare Street Kit Car (See below, great way to get a bit of Bruckell racing heritage into the lore as Bruckell doesn't have any lore at all in game). As mentioned in above posts, a pace car tribute trim level would be sensible.

Of course, general customization bits will always be appreciated. A wide array of hoods, a couple options for side exhausts, louvers, and so on.

    As for super builds:
    • It seems that cup cars are on everyone's mind thanks to the Wendover. A second gen cup car should be much easier than the gen 3 everyone has been talking about lately since gen 2 cars were factory bodies on modified frames. This would require a caged modified ladder frame, which might be close enough to contemporary modifieds/stockers/sportsmans/and so on to get another 2-in-1 superbuild like the Crawler/Prerunner.
    • The usual drag racing options apply here too: tubbed rear end, fiberglass front clip, and so on.
    • And finally, donks... Usually I wouldn't bother mentioning it, but after seeing videos of donk drag racing I kinda want one in game.

And finally, a thread for this thing so that we don't need to use this thread to discuss every Bruckell in game.

We definitely need a bigger V8 in the game and the Moonhawk would be probably the best candidate to have it. Only mods have V8s bigger than 7L which seems kinda weird to me.

It looks more like a 1982 Buick Century to me, especially with the upcoming wagon version.

The H-Body platform is a full sized platform, plus the 88 only had V6 options.

Unlike the H-Body cars, the A body platforms were the correct size, correct market position, same design lanuage, similar factory offerings, and the same engines down to the displacement.

So no, it's not an H-Body. At all.

I know this has been argued before but in all honesty the Legran is like Chrysler K car, cheaply made, looks like crap, 2 or 4 doors, front engine, front wheel drive, from the 1980s, with options of I4s and V6s. It kinda resembles the Dodge Dynasty.
