Yep, it's a 2013 model and it had about 150000km / 93000miles when it failed.
The car started smoking on the highway when I was towing a trailer. So I had to pay to tow the car and trailer, then I paid a fairly hefty sum to have it inspected. And then they wanted like $5000 to install a new turbo and some other parts. It all would have added up to 50% of the car's value. Fortunately I could do it myself for a quarter of the price.

Just got one of my dream cars I had my eye on since I was 7 years old. A neighbor down the street had one of these in gold-- a 1973 Cadillac Coupe DeVille; on Feb 5th, 2021. Pretty thrilled to say the least.

Okay , so I saw some people posted their motorcycles so I decided to post mine. I have 1986 Romet Ogar 205 just old comunistic piece of crap from Poland . Personaly I don't think it's classic or something . Like 10-15 years ago you could buy these for like 50PLN's or for 3-4 bottles of vodka and now Honda nsr50 is cheaper than this. It's after engine rebuild and now it has 60ccm not 50ccm . I like it because you know it's crap . Maybe in May i will repaint it (if i will have enough money) and do more stuff . So here is the best pic and yeah sorry for my english (ik i just say this for 578th time) thx for reading this.

My Dad could write a book on his ups and downs with BMW within the last two decades at least as comprehensive as modern manuals are :D
Turbos, camshaft chain, anything engine related - whether it's been his E34, E46, E87, F20, F52 or F10 (the last two 1 and 5 series are their current dailies).
Not saying anything about low quality or that other manufacturers are doing better jobs - guess it's more workshop related  He used to drive a Saab 900 cabrio and a 9-5 which haven't had any serious failures at all.

    OT

My partner and I are driving a 2017 Mercedes C200 which is surprisingly reliable, but I wouldn't count on that much longer - it hasn't seen the official Mercedes service shop that often yet, so that may change someday.

This is probably my most spotted car ever since the Berlin police department regularly uses them as unmarked speed traps ^^ I do obey limit most of the time +/- 10 kph where 50 is allowed, but it almost became some kind of reflex to slow down when I’m noticing a Caddy

i thought i'd already posted my car in here but i guess not, maybe it was another irl car thread
    i own a 1997 Suzuki X-90 5 speed RWD currently sitting at 16,750 miles
bought it last june and havent really done much to it yet due to lack of money and driving lessons in the uk being suspended multiple times since i turned 17
she's a solid car, nowhere near as bad as jeremy clarkson would have you believe although the slightly leaky roof panels got annoying quickly
also pictured with my dad's yeti

I am now the proud owner of one of the most polarizing cars of the last decade. Hated by many and loved by few, this car managed to turn away both of it's targeted demographics by trying to combine the two ahead of it's time. The car I'm talking about of course, is...the Honda CR-Z!

Mine in particular is a 2015 EX model, almost fully loaded with the all-important and wonderfully satisfying 6-speed manual transmission. With 71,000 miles, this car checked all the boxes in what I wanted as a replacement for my old Subaru Outback. Plus, I've always thought the CR-Z was a quirky and interesting little car. It's a two-seater hatchback with a manual transmission, but with a hybrid drivetrain and funky styling meant to pay homage to the Honda CRX.

However, my favorite feature by far is the Sport+ button on the steering wheel. When activated, S+ fully engages the electric motor for the duration of a pedal depress or until the hybrid battery runs out of charge. This gives the car much more low-end torque, meaning I don't have to downshift if I want to pass a truck while in 6th gear. It's almost like a KERS system, except Honda was doing this with a hatchback in 2010 before all the hybrid supercars of the decade and when KERS was just catching on in F1.

As for modifications, there's one I really want to do. Honda, being the company they are, made an official supercharger kit for the CR-Z complete with installation at a Honda dealer and an extended warranty. Even if I can't get those last two things anymore, the prospect of owning a supercharged hybrid manual hot hatch is too absurd to pass up.

Bonus picture: I was taking pictures in the Marin Headlands when a guy in an imported VW Scirocco turned up to take pictures of his hatchback as well.

Also, if anyone in Northern California is interested in buying a base model manual transmission 2002 Subaru Outback with 174,000 miles, feel free to send me a message.

Oh wow, that CR-Z looks really cool. Although I don't want to trade in a sedan or wagon anymore, hatchbacks are still one of my favourite body configuration - My first cars were a MK1 Ford Focus and MK7 Fiesta, but ironically enough - at the age of 12 - I took my first mile probably at 10mph :D on the same gen VW Scirocco like the one in your bonus picture. My uncle has always been obsessed with Volkswagen cars - he lives near Wolfsburg, the headquarters of VW - which doesn't necessarily binds people to that brand but anyways... - and still owns a bunch of their first and second gen classics like Golf (MK1 Rabbit - according to Forza? :D), Polo, Scirocco and Passat.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for your modification project, it really sounds too weird to be left out!

I always loved the CR-Z, it has a timeless design and a sporty handling while being fuel efficient.

Do you have 2 or 4 seats in yours?

I really like the CR-Z. I'd snap one up if I didn't require a larger car.
