So I recently got back into Beam.NG drive and when I try to use the East Coast map and theres always no material on most scenery. I tried clearing cache and removing the mods folder. Does anybody know how to resolve this? Thanks.

it'll show up at the top of the game window, or you can search for the exe file in windows and hover over it

    hmm
if it's been a really long time since you've played, i would recommend doing a fresh install if you notice more missing textures/materials on other maps
when you said "removing the mods folder" do you mean you ran it in safe mode or just removed all the mods?

I removed the folder, and since that didnt work too, i ran it in safe mode and it worked just fine. It's only the east coast map that's missing textures. I'll get back to you when I finish reinstalling beam then.

    Hi,

Rename your Userfolder (by default it's in Documents). The game will create a new folder. Then you can move your mods one by one (don't move all of them at once). You'll need to find the broken one.

    Hello,

If you ever see a lot of these on the BeamNG game the "Claer Cache". There is no "Clear Cache" Option so if you run the game there are 3 Options to start the game so go to support then you see the "Clear Cache" option then click on it! It won't erase your MODS it just reset he game don't worry about he MODS it will be fine. (If not work choose "Safe Mode" Option)

Going into documents<beamng drive<levels and deleting the east coast usa file should work. This won't delete the level, it deletes the modifications made to it (edited version in map editor) that have become outdated causing these problems. Doing what fluffy panda said should work too.

They should make it so clearing cache removes that folder because fixing texture issues would be infinitely easier then.

yeah, but at the same time if you made/customized your own map and then cleared cache because of a mod, it would erase the map

But most people never clear cache anyway so it wouldn't affect them lol
