Getting the second shot of Covid 19 vaccine today. The first one was pretty bad on the side effects for me, and I've heard the second is far worse. Well, here goes a few days of absolute hell.
Good news. I did in fact survive the second Covid-19 vaccine shot and had pretty much no side effects from it. I guess I got that part out of the way with the first shot. I also managed to find a Japanese import of Dynasty Warriors 4 for PS2 in a game store for only $9.99.
I have a new job: Wood chipper operator (no not one of those little dinky things, but a proper industrial monster). Second day on the job, i was leaving on time at 5:30, i forget my luch so i go back inside but i left the lights on on the car (i started it but the house keys were on the car keys so i had to turn it off), three minutes later i get back in and turn... rrrrrr.... rrrrr.... rrr.. rr... nothing. I drained the battery in three minutes, and even though i live on a reasonable hill, i'd have to push it upwards to get on the road to roll down. So a no to a hill start. Well shit im going to be late so i call the boss to let him know. Eventually i found a battery pack jump starter thingy and get on my way. On the first job two trees got stuck in the mouth of the chipper which was highly annoying and somewhat time consuming to rectify (which was caused by my inexperience in operating the beast). Then no less than five minutes later im feeding a smallish branch into it but i wasn't standing far aside enough (NEVER feed shit into the those things by standing in front of the mouth) and when it caught the blades it jumped up and gave a good wack to me nose. There were no tissues or rags or stuff to stop the bleeding so for half an hour i just had to hold my nose whilst using the chipper, it was a bloody mess
where i live there are a lot of car dealerships, and i saw two bronco sports, a volkswagen I.D.4, and a last edition Brz. There was also a Lambo Huracan and a 911 Gt3 rs "racing" down the highway while i was driving along
On Sat, I went out into the next county and saw: A 1968 Mustang, An old Corvette, some old rusty 1970s Ford, 2 Miatas, 2 1980s Broncos and a 1930s car. Yesterday, I went back there, saw the same Mustang, and also spotted the newer Ford Bronco Sport.
I've got a new job too actually, since two months ago. Hauling the big ol' semi again The covid situation had put me out of a job for almost a year and I also lost a small company as a consequence of it. Ah well, live is full of surprises.. glad to see your injuries were at least of the minor kind
Awww cool, i actually wanna get my truck license, the prospect of traveling around the country and being paid for it is enticing. Plus my dad is a truck driver so that'll be a big help in getting the license. Like father like son right ? (only im not a 150kg worth of morbidly obese man). Anyways im sorry to hear you lost you business, who'd have thought the humble Toyota Corona would shut the world down . So what was your business ? Truck related i presume ?
This is very often inevitable in the business indeed, on top of this I was born into it and learned to drive loaded semi's at age 10 ! However I decided not to drive 'm for a whole lifetime so I'm jumping back in after ten years of other activities and occupations. Before my big break I drove 5 years international (Europe as where I'm from) and about 4 years daily home. Then I took on other projects like instrument making and other stuff. Me neither LOL I'm a quite slender person but I'm build strong for the time being Yeah who would have thought.. I was running a small business together with a former coworker. As we became more of friends we set up a business in transporting people. Our main customers were companies but we had private customers too. We bought a new Jaguar back in late 2016 and got all permits, licenses and legal stuff and started going. Things were going well enough to cut the cost and I was still a part time fork lift driver while my companion worked full time in the business. Then when covid hit our business was struck down (everybody was locked inside of course) and I lost my job as fork lift driver as well. I wasn't all too disappointed cause at the start of the crisis I was pretty scared of covid and was all to glad to be 'stuck inside' as well, at least for a while. By this time the car was paid off about 75-80 percent and since my coworker paid the advance when we bought it we decided he could keep it The plan was to expand to two cars and finally start to make profit but nature decided different heheh. So being stuck in my bubble for almost a year and fighting my way through the costs of wrapping up my 'company executive status' I decided to fall back on my capacity as a truck driver. Good truck drivers are always wanted and needed, they deliver the 'peoples goodies'
I did a BeamNG to my Geo Metro --- Post updated --- Never try to drift in 5th gear with an understeer car...
My uncle bought a Chrysler Voyager. Realized to late that the car had no insurance and a faulty apk. Been pulled over by police. Car belongs to a local Kwikfit. Hopefully it's going to be insured and repaired. Nice!
I saw a 350Z tuned, slammed in my weird backwoods creepy town, was super amazed, also a matte black 911
I would offer you $250 for it, but honestly... it probably isn't worth that (and by "did a BeamNG", do you mean "crashed" or "did something stupid"?)
