I really like the progress till now. With every step you make and show us it gets prettier and prettier. Again thanks for making this mod and i cant wait till its finished or we get an updated version of this beauty-beast
I would show you if I could find a way to fix the issues I'm having It has these weird dark shading errors in it that I'm trying to fix, without a normal map it would be easy to fix, but the normal map keeps screwing it up. EDIT: Think I found a fix. Gimme a sec and I'll post a pic. Also added logo(which still needs cleaning up but oh well)
The wheels look decent and fine, but i can see what you mean. They sorta remind me of the wheels you see on every Oldsmobile Alero in the world. (cause of the white matte texture)
Urgh, mostly better. 2 spokes still have it and I can't seem to fix it...(It's gone on 1 picture because I rotated the wheel which makes it not show up, strangely enough). I know 99% of the people will NEVER know it's there, but I'll forever know it's there making me think "No it's not perfect yet!". Worst thing about it, it's not there in my viewports in my modeling program, it's not there in renders, it's not there in Photoshop... It's only there in-game :| Anyways... Ultimate wall-tap?
dude thats soo small you wouldn't even notice it while driving unless you were looking close up at the wheels
This is the car I've been most interested in seeing in BeamNG since I came on the forums. I really hope you won't abandon it!
I know. I've seen him work here and on RoR, but that doesn't mean he ceases to surprise me. That's why I'm saying it, because I really likes his work.
These are on the Australian variant, Cressida as they are named here, also they have these wire style wheels too. Image From Wikipedia: ( The front guard is a tad warped ) --EDIT-- Found this on quick Google image search for "Cressida Wheels" and it resulted in the images below. (the above images came from HERE) Hubcaps
Hmm it also could be something with the specular map if you say it's only visible from one angle. Anyway, the wheels look great-near perfect. I love all the progress pics btw. And yeah the logo has to cover a bit more uv space for extra resolution if it's possible.
Thanks for the pics. Also, the Cressida is NOT the same car They're called Chasers everywhere, they just lookalike a little bit and use the same chassis.
Not called for at all mate. Just because there are some Russian people do this, not all... The fact the the generalizations about Russians and bad models and stolen models is pure crap. I know it looks that way, but who is saying its always the Russians... Americans, Aussies, New Zealanders, Irish, the fact is Pirates are in all walks of life, not just in Russia. Just quit pointing the finger at people without your proof. IF you have the proof of said accusation, please provide proof...
So it seems, so it seems - - - Updated - - - No worries mate, I do not really follow Toyota models, was just going on what I've seen. I know there are newer chasers here, but that shape.. well I have only ever seen cressidas. I could be blind though. Cheers for clearing that up Mythbuster. If I happen to find any more useful pictures I shall also link them here for you.
They actually re-uploaded this car too? Man, the pirates are really getting desperate for new cars to re-upload. Must be because they can't make cars this good. Just saying this, I would never re-upload any car to ANY other website. It's too disrespectful for my taste.
