Most likely Wednesday/Thursday. That way it's close to Easter, but the devs at least have one day to answer any pressing issues. I've waited over seven years for this update, it better be damn good!
I always expect updates to be earlier in the week, so just in case a game-breaking bug gets found out a few days after release the devs don't have to work on weekends.
Good point. Now I'm thinking either Monday, Tuesday or next week altogether. Keep in mind that if I were wrong along with everyone else saying the same thing, Nadeox would have cleaned this thread and told us to be patient long ago.
Transverse 4WD drivetrains are relatively rare afaik. Maybe the LeGran 4WD drivetrain will feature a longitudinally-mounted engine, this could also open up a possibility for a RWD and AWD swap which could generate a whole lot of more configuration possibilities.
Are we sure the LeGran's AWD/4WD will even be a factory option? Never underestimate the off-road power of redneck engineering!
At the moment it's basically just straight up a GM A-Body, which had one transverse FF AWD car (Pontiac 6000 STE). A longitudinal swap (factory or aftermarket) would open up some cool possibilities, but it isn't necessary.
My guess will be wednesday then they have a day to get a hotfix since friday is a holiday here in germany.
80's songs that soliad my wendover Spoiler I am going to use "Effigy" by Ministry for a Soliad Wendover commercial edit: more realistically this would be the zenith of boomer singalong commercials
If career mode was paid DLC most people wouldn't buy it lol. Also, it would be cool to get an official limo, and maybe the Wendover would be a fitting car for such a thing.
Limo... But which car would be the best? Wendover has enough content and it would look weird. Roamer maybe, just maybe. Grand Marshall seems the most realistic because it's already... l o n g. Nah, just do it for the Pigeon and it will be alright.
I was thinking the same thing, but the Grand Marshal is based on the Crown Vic, but the upscale version is the Lincoln Town Car, and that was predominantly used as limos.
How do you know the Wendover has enough content if we have literally only seen the base model, what if it's the only one lol
I don`t know! lol But we might have (these are my guesses): Green-for sure, Yellow(ish)-guess but possible, Red-no evidence for that -Derby, -Basic versions: That`s two because Manual and Automatic, -Mid-trim: also two I guess, -High-trim: same as above, -V8? -Street Tuned, -Maybe Drag? 10 configs... That`s a medium number I think. But devs maybe have something in their pocket to shook us, right?
I find it funny how you listed derby, which has never been mentioned by the developers, as green for 'for sure' but there isn't a single factory config that is 'for sure'. It makes me think that the Soliad Wendover will consist of a sole Derby configuration. What I think: Factory: - Derby - Derby LWB limousine - Base - Mid spec - High spec - Ultra high spec - Sport spec - LWB limousine Aftermarket: - Derby - Derby LWB limousine - Street tuned - Some sort of VIP private taxi? - Longitudinal V8 swap - Trackday
Factory stick shift in a personal luxury car of this era? Not realistic, and considering that the factory configs for the GM and facelift Roamer ommited most or all (too lazy to check right now) stick shifts, I think it's safe to say the normal factory configs won't be getting manual versions. Maybe the performance spec, but IRL counterparts (Toronado Trofeo and Reatta) didn't get one. We might see one in those for gameplay reasons though. I'm sure we will see an aftermarket one though, refer to the GM's config selection. I really hope we don't get a "base" trim level. If I was an old well off person buying an expensive 1980's/1990's luxury car and the salesman said "here's the trim level we call 'base model", I'd be a bit upset. A derby variant is... Well it's BeamNG so we will probably get one since everything else does, even if it is odd to see. Same story for all the non-factory special configs honestly. So that leaves us with like 6 configs if we only get 1 body style and no corperate/platform cousins. I think it's safe to say we will see more than that. Not only is that unusual for a the current era of BeamNG development, but the devs have on multiple occasions said they want it to be more unique than the original concept since so many people were worried it would be boring and this car has taken unusually long to develop (the pattern was one new car every other update for the Piccolina/Bluebuck/FCV)
I completely forgot about V8 swaps, that´s a possibility as well. The only other swap we currently have are the two smaller Gavril V8s in the Hopper.
